How long does it take to recognise a song?
I watched two concerts on BM Prime today. One of the Online Okyujis and the pre Just Bring It release. Both great shows, so full of energy. But, what I wonder is, how long does it take for fans from various places to realise what track is being played? It must be almost immediately for Japanese fans. I realised that it took me such a long time to realise. Not because I didn't know the track. I knew each, intimately, and knew every note that was coming. But not the name of the track. For instance, I didn't realise the Maids were playing Secret My Lips until they reached the jazz break. Also, Alone. I must've listened hundreds of times but I was half way through before I realised which track it was. I suppose it is because of the language. With other bands, I can identify a song quickly after hearing the words. Maybe it adds to the excitement!?! Still, however long it takes, it is always a pleasure. 🙏
