This is my frist EP under the name Pocket Pool called Homebody, inspired by bands like The Coneheads, Thee Oh Sees (especially their early stuff), Powerplant, R.M.F.C., Tee Vee Repairmann and Snõõper, and the lofi recording ethos of musicians like Guided By Voices, R.Steve Moore and Sharp Pins.
Everything is directly recorded into a Tascam DP008 8-Track PortaStudio: guitar and bass played through homemade guitar pedals, vocals through a harmonica microphone, drum computer samples and last but not least a 20 euro thrift store keytar that I put through a chorus pedal to get synth sounds. The result is six minutes of quirky punk, which I hope you enjoy!
I first released this EP in April this year, and I'm currently working on new material. I still have a couple of codes left over, which you can claim on https://pocketpool.bandcamp.com/yum.

I’m happy to share Early Works for free: 36 tracks from my early days with Fruity Loops, composed between 2000 and 2007.
Back then, my approach was very spontaneous. It was pure fun, almost like playing a video game. Whenever I had some free time, I’d build a loop and let it play on repeat while adding sounds, tweaking knobs, and introducing variations until a song gradually took shape. The result was a collection of playful, melancholic, dark, and weird tracks that I originally shared online across three albums, all of which are compiled in this archive.
Listening to them again brings a smile to my face and stirs up so many memories. While some tracks are a little rough around the edges and not always perfectly mixed, this period marked the genesis of my main musical project: CIRC.
I hope some of you enjoy listening to them.

Our debut album "The Scapegoat's Agony" turned 30 last November so we are giving away some free codes to celebrate this anniversary just a little bit longer🙂:
https://comabeach.bandcamp.com/album/the-scapegoats-agony
The album title "The Scapegoat's Agony" is an allusion to the play "Waiting for Godot" by Irish playwright and novelist Samuel Beckett and points towards the – for the most part – painful and excruciating emotional odyssey of the unnamed antihero.
Our musical influences range from Sex Pistols, Ramones, Hüsker Dü, Joy Division, The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain to Guns N' Roses, Therapy? and Bad Religion, with our songs frequently straddling the line between punk rock and alternative rock.

My partner and I have been making experimental music together for years, but we rarely publish stuff. We just put out a new EP: two tracks recorded live in one session using field recordings, shortwave numbers stations, a synth, Nintendo 3DS, a telephone pickup coil and whatever other noise we could get out of the setup. No overdubs or production afterwards.
Thought some people here might enjoy it. We would love to hear what you think.

happy bandcamp friday all
just released my 4th single as a solo artist, a version of suede's "she's in fashion" with fuzz & squelching wah guitars in place of the original's y2k-tastic synths + drum machine combinations
started off with me just wanting to hear the lead melody through fuzz, then next thing i knew i'd just recorded the whole tune
i can provide some codes as soon as the bc servers open up a bit... but for now, at least the streaming works 😅
We recorded this live off the floor here in Toronto and made some lil tapes. It got some fun reviews you can check out on our Neocties website.
