Music has honestly been the one constant for me. Every mood, good days, bad days, just sitting around doing nothing. There's always been something playing.

I grew up listening to a lot of stuff. Carnatic, Hindustani, folk, film music across Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, English. I just listen to whatever. Genre and language don't really matter to me.

I never learned an instrument because where I grew up, there was simply no one teaching it. Now I'm in Bengaluru and I want to actually do something about that. I'm leaning toward piano or guitar but genuinely don't know which is easier to start with from zero. If you have an opinion on that I'd love to hear it.

I'm 23. I know people treat that like it's too late to start learning music. I really don't see it that way.

If you know any good classes here, beginner level, budget friendly, please drop them below. And if you're someone who just loves music and wants to talk about it or even learn together, that's honestly what I'm here for. I don't have many people around me who are into this stuff.

I'm 22 and want to start playing the drums again, i've sort of had big hiatus with the instrument as I spent too much time studying in college.

I graduated recently and I have free time for a while till my work starts and I am looking for bandmates.

I enjoy rock and metal music in general but I pretty much enjoy any genre.

My favorite artists are periphery, novelists and linkin park , if anyone is interested in jamming drop a message.

Posting this again, I recently shifted to blr for my new job , been doing music since over a decade now I used to be the head of the music society at my college, and we did some crazy music back there, made songs , and executed some crazy rock covers, mostly in the Indian fusion and Hindi genre, but most of all we jammed , and we vibed, spending time at my music room there was the most fun, and I miss it, so if you've got a BAND, or a group that does regular jamming meetups ,kindly let me in 😄, I am a singer, and play all the guitars.

Hey everyone, I’m from Ahmedabad and I’ve been taking music seriously for the last few years, mainly guitar, songwriting, and building my musicianship overall.

Honestly, Ahmedabad feels very limited when it comes to finding serious musicians, forming bands, regular jams, gigs, or a strong live music culture. Because of that, I’ve been thinking seriously about shifting to Bangalore in the future.

I wanted honest opinions from people already in the scene there.

How is the reality of Bangalore’s music culture?

- finding musicians/bands

- gigs/open mics

- networking

- indie scene

- learning from serious guitar teachers

- music colleges worth joining

And what are the harsh realities people usually don’t talk about?

I’m not expecting overnight success or anything. I just genuinely want to be around people who live and breathe music and keep improving myself as a guitarist and musician.

I’m a drummer with over 10 years of experience, currently interested to form a dedicated band with musicians who are ready to give music a serious, renewed focus.

Many of us have been through that chapter, long hours in rehearsal spaces, chasing the perfect tone and building songs that meant something. Even if life took us in other directions, the drive to create never truly fades.

Looking for: Guitarists Bassist Vocalist (M/F) Keyboardists / Synth Players Multi-instrumentalists

Musical direction: Alternative Rock, Progressive Rock and Psychedelic Rock.

Influences: Tool, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Alt J, Tame Impala, Crumb, among others.

Just a disclaimer: looking for people who are actually serious about the project and can take out at least one day every week to jam together. Preferably on the weekend.
