🤖 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airvoy.airvoy
🍎 iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/airvoy-esim/id6751522296

Airvoy

Airvoy

Planning a 28 day itinerary to Bangkok - need suggestions

In November, I'm travelling to Bangkok for the first time. It's been a dream for me for a long time, and I want to get the most out of the vacation, and see as much as possible. I'm the kind of guy that love planning, and I've got multiple excel sheets just for this vacation. I also know that I have a tendency to plan too much, and complicate things.

This is why I turn to you people to get your opinion.

I'm staying in Bangkok for 28 nights, so I've decided to stay at multiple hotels during my stay. I'd love to see the thai people's Bangkok, as well as doing a lot of the touristy stuff. Most shopping will be done during the last 2 1/2 weeks of my stay.

So far, I've decided that in the middle of my travel, as a little break, I want to stay at Kho Kret for a weekend, and three nights before or after close to the canals at Thon Buri or a bit further north close to Khlong Mon where there are a few nice canal houses for rent.

For the rest of my stay, I've been looking at these areas:

Hotels between the areas of The Grand Palace, Chinatown and Khao San Road for a 4-5 days. I also consider a hotel close to the Prannok ferry terminal for this part of my stay.

Silom / Sathorn for about a week.

Ratchathewi / Din Daeng / Rama 9 for about a week.

Between Asok BTS and Phrom Phong BTS for 4-5 nights.

I also consider changing up a bit and have 4-5 nights close to railway stations Khlong Tan or Sukhumvit 71 / Thararom Village, close to the canal for easy travel.

For some reason, I see that in my research for hotels, I've also marked a hotel between Bang Chak BTS and On Nut BTS - and a hotel in Tiwanon. The last, possibly because it's a really cheap 5 star hotel. Is there eny reason for me to stay at any of these places?

Oh, yeah. I'd love to take a day trip both to Ayutthaya, and spend a day at The Ancient City combined with The Erawan Museum as well.

What do you guys think?
