Wandering Hunter Ether Activity 8 first time clear - Music used: Drumfire from Judgement.

Ive been playing banyue alot in hollow zero i wanna perfect him before he reruns(hoping its 3.0) rn just wanna know any unique tech/cancels and tips to manage and gain adrenaline faster

This might be common knowledge, but as someone who doesn't always go to free training mode, I'm hoping this will help.

I haven't seen anyone posting how to practice the crushing peaks cancel (or maybe i just missed it) so I'm sharing the setup I figured out in free training mode to efficiently practice this, especially the part where you are trying to not trigger the chain attack while doing your combo. (feel free to share yours if you think yours is much more efficient!)

Training setup:
Enemy type: Dullahan.
non-moving, invulnerable and stunnable. set to level 10 or 20. and ofcourse enable infinite adrenaline and decibels.

team: Banyue + preferred stunner (in my case I chose Koleda, since I don't have Dialyn. And Koleda also can stun with just 1 EX Skill)

fill your wrath bar and activate your visage state, I use orb combo the most to fill it up quickly. , then trigger stun state with your stunner, then combo away! if you accidentally trigger the chain attack, there's no need to activate your crushing peaks and refill your wrath bar. just reset Dullahan again then you just stun again.

I also found it helpful to separate the practice of not triggering the chain and executing the cancel. once I was confident with not triggering the chain, that's when I started practicing adding the hold basic to execute the cancel.

Another thing I found on controller is that you don't need to do a full circle on your L stick to do the taunt, you can just do forward > back > Dodge.

Pre stun rotation:

Accumulate 120 wrath and stun as fast as possible (banyue is mostly b/b/b/ex/b)

Stun rotation:

Fufu stun

Banyue chain, when banyue is doing chain, input ex/b/ex, when banyue is doing ex/b/ex, input b/b/ex, then switch to lucia (ex) and banyue chain do the same thing like in first chain, then hold basic, ult

Hey guys M2 (hopefully m3 soon) Ban player here. My current team for the lion is M2W1 Banyue, M0W0 dialyn, and M0W1 Lucia. As of rn I don’t have trouble clearing content BUT I am a new player still so I really only have 3 good teams. In endgame modes I also run full M0W0 Angels of Delusion and Orphie/Sanby aftershock. My fourth team is Ye Shunguang and Zhao, and this is where things get tricky.

Ysg is one of those characters that help me clear endgame perfectly yet her ether veil uptime is SOO difficult without either having Dialyn or Sunna paired with her. And as I’ve learned with playing Aria as a main DPS, she’s gonna want all the angels on her team to clear without any mindscapes or wengines on the team. Dialyn, meanwhile, is kind of locked to my Banyue rn

My question is whether or not Norma is worth pairing with Banyue over Dialyn, and if so, how much of an increase/decrease is it to have her there? My Krampus Bangboo is refinement 3 so I only need Banyue to trigger the passive thankfully, but the struggle here is that Dialyn is so valuable that I’ve got 2 teams (3 if you count the fact I hate using Pulchra in aftershock) that are struggling for her. Banyue is my only rupture agent so it’s not like Lucia is going anywhere.

My apologies if this question has been asked a million times, but I’m prepping ahead of time since I’m sooo tired of getting A rank clears in Shuyu Defense because of Dialyn being needed everywhere. Thank you!
