Looking to buy a Rawlings Heart of the Hide Japanese offerings that came out…. Recently..? Not sure about the timeline, sorry…

I did try to reach out to that user over DM, but no response after a couple days, so thought I’d try my luck here.

I don’t know why I can’t shake that specific one, but figured why fight it. The combination of the leather color, webbing style and the red/white/blue tag just keep me looking at it.

I’ve seen a couple still exist on eBay, but they’re the “rubber ball” variants. Despite the comments on those listings saying they’re viable for Baseball, especially considering it’ll just be a dad glove I use to play with my kid, I figured I’d look for the “GH” variant first.

Crest Hide Inspire steerhide leather.
Glove has been well cared for with no cracking of leather on shell or handstall. Some discoloration of leather color in pocket and on fingertips from use.
Broken in with single hinge. Can be worn traditional or TIP.

This Rawlings HOH is made from top line Horween and features Ozzie Smith’s classic 12” trapeze pattern. This glove is in very good shape for its age, with the major sign of wear being on the wrist binding (not uncomfortable on the hand) but the handstall is very smooth. Glove has been relaced and is broken in single hinged.

For trades, I’m mostly looking for Horween Rawlings TT2 or TB24 or other Japanese made gloves in good shape, but would hear offers on other things too.

Grace makes Japanese Patterns too.

33.5" Steerhide Pro Japan Catcher's Mitt in Navy and Camel. Pink welting and Gold and Pink stitching with Tan laces. This 33.5" is massive and light. I'm in love.

11.75 EN7 is super stiff and will take considerable work to break it. Awesome glove.

So this is the second custom I've picked up in the past month, and boy is she a beauty.

I think I'm wanting to get it "professionally" broke in from thumb to pinky.

It's just so nice, it deserves a good break in.

Anyone recommend a decent glove break in service that won't break the bank?

SOLD Grace 1B - Hinges worked, pocket needs a ton more work. Narrower feeling than a Rawlings DCT pattern. Asking $130 shipped.

SOLD Grace CM33 - 33", hinges fully broken in. Pocket 90% broken in. Japanese style pattern, my favorite catchers mitt pattern I've tried thus far. This was a custom, so there is a number 11 embroidered on it. Asking $140 shipped.

Rawlings PRO204 - 11.5" single post from Don Morton. Non-R2G, broken in somewhat single hinge, traditional finger out. Works well with TIP also. Asking $230 shipped.

Will consider trades for a Timberglaze glove and/or tan American style catchers mitt like a Rawlings CM33/CM43/YM4/etc.

5. Nike Diamond Elite Vapor J (made in japan) 11.25” unused, but has some staining from oil oxidation on the leather. There is writing on the middle finger —my research tells me that this is an official glove craftsman stamp of approval leaving production.

6. Nike shado elite J mvp pitchers glove: made in Japan, 11.75 inches. Used glove, the hand stall lining that is used in Nike gloves from this era has worn down, but otherwise in good shape and still a solid user

7. Yamamoto glove studio (Ygs) proline (top model) EA3 model: TG North European leather (excellent grip to this leather giving it almost a “squeaky” feel). Hinges are worked in, but otherwise still needs to be broken in to be game ready

8. Kubota slugger outfield: made in japan, 32 cm (~12.6”). Hinges are 1/3 worked in, but otherwise unused.

Debating listing this glove here. Picked it up for a great price locally, but I don't love the web, and if its worth a decent amount I'd rather just sell it than have another 11.5" glove.

Its a customized glove. On the thumb its got players name, American flag, and an embroidered EB (i guess his school). I can send more pics if you are interested, or once I actually make a for sale post.

He sold me both of his gloves (this one new, the other one very used), and said he was retired from baseball (cut from team? I didn't want to ask)

Sorry if this is not a typical post, but I couldn't find a single Akadema glove here to reference for price. Their website lists the lowest custom glove for $325 fwiw.

Picked up this HOH - PROT3029C at the Rawlings outlet store at the Myrtle Beach Tanger outlet stores for around $200. They had a few others in stock if anybody was in the area and looking. Nothing fancy but probably will use it for slowpitch.

I just bought this on ebay for $225 plus shipping. I have been looking for one of these for a while. I'm so excited to get it.

Had to share these beautiful Grace customs I had made for my son in his team colors. These two Threshers are made with Grace's new Steerhide. They have reduced padding in the thumb and pinky for youth, you wouldn't really know it, They both came Factory Stiff, and I'm talking old school HOH/A2K stiff. The blue has a suede like finish and I honestly thought They had mistakenly made these in Japanese Kip. Maxx #1 is almost done with the break in and Maxx #2 may be getting a dunk when I get home off Vacay. Couldn't be happier with these.

Been waiting a while for these to add to the collection. A vintage 90’s mizuno prewind Japan made outfield 12.5”, super stiff and in great shape and an ASICS Gold stage special order custom. The leather on the ASICS is unreal, for a game played glove the stiffness is remarkable, can’t wait to get it out on the diamond.

Super stoked to break this in!

I bought this 6 years ago or so and played catch with it once. Since then it has been stored away from the sun in climate controlled temp so condition is really good. Whoever buys this can break in the glove however they wish. I did remove the tags from the glove.

The glove comes with extra padding for thumb protection and pointer finger guard. Also included is glove mallet! Retails for 540CAD + tax.

Looking to get 350CAD = 250 USD for it

Hey guys! I just received my new PP from Rawlings. The FedEx dude just left. I am in awe of how cool it is. I just have one question, The part that is stamped with the normal “Pro Grade-Handcrafted” but after that it has #1 ? I didn’t know if that means that is the 1st one they’ve done in this configuration or they’re just saying their product is #1? Anybody have any idea?
