Hump Day Mail Day

Yankees Lot just came in. If you can guess how much I paid for it exactly, I will send you a Bowman card pack. I'll announce a winner 🏆 at midnight.

EDIT: Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner. I paid $85 for the cards.

What is the preferred company for card grading?

I always hear PSA, but a lot of people have some complaints about them. I know that wait time is insane, so I was curious as to if there’s a better company to go with. Who are you choosing to grade your cards?

Updated Bowman Chase List

I created a Bowman spread sheet on players/chases to look for and posted it a few days ago. I got some really great feedback from everyone so I updated with some of the feedback and completed some of the edits today. Since everyone is still going ape shit for Bowman, I figured I'd share again. The next edit I make will be tonight or tomorrow about chase cards/case hits so everyone knows what they are. Any feedback is helpful! Remember this is all speculative, so take it with a grain of salt! The link is here: 2026 Bowman Chases

What does everyone think of this set coming out next month?

2025 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary Baseball Hobby Box. Given the price of cards lately, this set looks really cool and the price for a hobby box is pretty reasonable. Anyone have any knowledge of previous sets like this?

Community Virtual 2026 Bowman Mystery Pack War!!! Wednesday June 17 @ 8:00PM Read Below for more info and rules! RSVP by leaving a comment below!

Hello everyone,

I am trying something a little different for our virtual rip nights! To help make it more engaging and fun for everyone, we will be trialing a two-part event. For the first hour, we’ll kick things off with an exciting round of Bowman Mystery Pack War - a suspense-filled pack battle where every player secretly saves their best hit from each pack before revealing their final lineup at the end to determine the winner. After the competition wraps up, we’ll transition into an open community Rip Night! This will allow you to be able to come and go freely during the open rip portion of the night. If we like this, it can be something we do regularly at our monthly rip nights or if we can decide to only do this a few times a year. If we don't like it at all, we can go back to an open rip night. I'll get everyone's feedback at while we transition to open rip night! Read below for the pack war rules and let me know if you have any questions.

RSVP by commenting below which night you plan on attending (you can attend just one or both). **I will DM zoom links within 48 hours of event.**

Time

Pack War - 8:00PM - 9:00PM EST (Please arrive 5 min early so we can start on time)

Welcome to the 2026 Bowman Pack War

What You Need

* Each participant must bring:
ONE sealed 2026 Bowman box

* Every box should contain:
6 packs total

* If you are having trouble finding a box, please reach out ASAP so we can help before the event.

How the Game Works

Format:

* There will be 6 total rounds
* Each round = opening 1 pack

During Each Round:

  1. Open your pack on camera.
  2. Look through your cards.
  3. Choose the ONE card you believe is your best card from that pack.
  4. Place that card into a separate pile OFF CAMERA without revealing it.
    * This keeps the mystery alive until the end!
  5. You may then show/discuss any remaining cards from the pack if you would like.
  6. Assign a point value to your hidden card and keep track of your score privately during the game (point system located below)

Scoring:

* Players are responsible for tracking their own points throughout all 6 rounds.
* Point values should be assigned honestly and consistently.
* The final reveal at the end ensures fairness and transparency.

Final Reveal:

After Round 6:

* Players will go one-by-one and reveal:
* Their 6 saved cards
* The point value assigned to each card
* Everyone will be able to see the cards and scoring to ensure fairness.

Winning:

* Add up your total points from all 6 saved cards.
* The player with the highest total score wins first prize selection.

Prize Structure:

There will be 10 total prizes available:

Floor Prizes (6)

* These are equal-value entry/floor prizes.

Mid-Tier Prizes (3)

* Better prizes with increased value.

Chase Prize (1)

* The top prize of the event

Prize Selection:

After final standings are determined:

  1. 2 Winners will select a number from 1–10 (starting with 1st place, then 2nd)
  2. Each number corresponds to a hidden prize
  3. The prize behind that number becomes yours
  4. All other members will receive 1 card of my choosing
  5. If no one hits a mid tier or chase prize, those two prizes will remain

Sportsmanship Rules:

* No changing saved cards after a round ends
* Keep scoring reasonable and honest
* Respect other players and their hits
* Most importantly: have fun ripping packs and enjoying the hobby together.

Last Bowman on the shelf at Target

Never heard of this guy, but I’m going to keep an eye out for him. Just happy to get an auto, on top of just wanting to get something numbered! Loving the Bowman!
