Best Anta Kai signature so far?
What is you're favorite of the first 3 Kyrie signature shoes with Anta? I'm so glad he left Nike, in my opinion all 3 of these are superior to anything made with him. They've even given him an actual Carbon fiber shank in the 3. Nike never was going to give him that they were putting gum stick sized zooms in his signatures.
I still like the 1 the best thus far though I'm not completely done forming my opinion on the 3s but I believe I'm far enough along to say I like them better than the 2s but they are not eclipsing the 1s by any means.
The 1s just check every box & the comfort level is superior. The midsole is tuned juuust right the 3s are a tad too soft the 2s are a bit too firm the 1s are right in the middle with plushness / pop.
The thick tongue & achilles pillows on the 1s takes the cake for interior molding / support. The inverted traction on the 1s will last the longest, but the 3s are more consistent especially on dusty courts. For the uppers the 2s again definitely have the worst material of the pack. The 3s have the softest most premium but both the 2s & 3s don't have airflow the 1s have plenty.
All 3 shoes need some breaking in, the 2s certainly needed the most with the tpu arrow frame around the lace line digging or constricting too tightly to the point I had to immediately stop & take the shoe off. They did eventually break in & it stopped being an issue but I never had anything like that happen with the 1s or 3s they were very comfortable right out of the box.
Overall I'm happy with all 3, especially for the price. Anta has been killing it lately in both Kyrie & Klays signature line. If you haven't tried any of these & have only played in the Nike Kyrie's the first thought you'll likely have when putting either of these on for the first time is wow these actually have cushion. And they feel so much more nimbler than the Nike line.
