Just wanted to share this. During paper skies set, I ground scored a Kirby pin. It didn’t have a back, so as I was walking back to camp to get ready for the night, I took it to lost and found. I was quite on drugs and I kinda wanted to keep it (sorry) so instead I jammed it in to the wood of the gate that leads to ticket services/ADA office.
About 12 hours later when I was leaving to go back to camp, I remembered to check to see if it was there and someone had swapped it for this DOPE meta knight pin!
I kinda feel bad for ground scoring the pin and not giving it over to lost and found, but the fact that someone saw it and swapped it for this one is just fucking legendary.
If that was you, thanks, meta knight is my favorite Kirby character besides Kirby himself. So… thanks!
Why did they end up closing the pit the 2 later days? Especially day 3, they closed the pit so close in that security told my grp even getting water from the front left of the stage will end ur access to the pit, which seems real shitty if their goal is to reduce the # of people dehydrated and passing out.
I went to both this year (Beyond was first time at the Gorge). I actually prefer the diverse lineup of Beyond, but I have to say Excision's production is S tier compared to Beyond. I wish Beyond:
1 and 2 are the most important imo. Mainstage at Beyond is quieter compared to Bass.
It was my first Excision fest and I had a good time!
So much build up for so little drop. Just rewatched the set cause I thought I was tripping but nah it was ass. Wooli needs to stay on solo sets. His 2025 bass canyon set 1000x better than that wankdat set

On Saturday during Cannabliss’s set, this girl and her boyfriend were at the rail and the girl was flowing with her light whip. It hit me a few times on my leg and arm, and I was about to tell her to please go to the back of the crowd to do that because that is very much a BACK OF THE CROWD activity.
She ended up hitting me in the eye, and it hurt pretty bad. I immediately started crying and moved to the other side of the rail with my friend to get away from her. She never even noticed she hit me or anything, and honestly the lack of spatial awareness was appalling.
When I moved to the other side, it was clear I was not having a good time and I was still crying. A girl in front of me was wearing a beautiful kimono robe, and she came up to me and offered it to me to stay warm. We ended up hanging out for the rest of the set and into the next one. I met her husband, we had great conversation, and it really turned my night around because I was so ready to leave after I got hit.
At the end of the night, she ended up gifting me her robe. I didn’t even know what to say, I was speechless and so surprised that she would gift it to me, especially since this was my FIRST BASS CANYON 🥹 I was so incredibly happy and so thankful that I found such amazing people. I was not expecting anything like that to happen to me especially my first year going, but it did.
I handmade a flower crown for my outfit that day, and I’m so glad I was wearing it because I ended up gifting it to her after she gave me her robe. She told me I didn’t have to, but I wanted to. She made my whole night, and I wanted to give her something special too.

It’s like they finally figured out the sound system issues after atlienz or whatever but god this set was my favorite of the weekend. Liked X’s sunset set better than his nighttime set. Anyone have footage of Inzo set?
This was our first bass and we LOVED every second of it. We did premier camping and GA tickets.
For those of you who go VIP - tell me the pros and cons and if it was worth it! I’ve seen some swear by it, while others say there are 6+ hour long waits for the amenities.
Help a baller on a budget make a decision for next year!!!
We’re also considering upgrading to front yard from premier to be closer to camp for re-entry. We’d love opinions of front yard as well

context: this bass canyon was my first ever rave experience. and wow! i’m speechless, my calendar for each year for the rest of my life will have bass canyon on it. i’m never gotten into edm music so i was totally blind coming in. not only did some djs shock me but the overall people, atmosphere, and energy of the whole place was through the roof so im glad i came! but here is my top 5 sets as a newbie that i enjoyed the most!!!
First Bass, was an absolute blast! Wanted to inquire about camping setup ideas so we know better for next year. We were definitely NOT prepared enough. Not my first Gorge festival, but the Gorge in August is another beast entirely. Maybe I'm too old or I was too sober, but I got max 4 hours of sleep a night, energy levels were mad low until sundown. How did you guys beat the heat/noise?
First off my first year of bass canyon was PHENOMENAL!! Met so many people and had so many good experiences I’m so excited for next hear! I wanted to know everyone opinions of repeated songs they’ve heard! For me I kept hearing “Fuck the speakerz up” isoxo! How about you, what have heard repeatedly!
First off HOLY FUCK 🤯
I’ve always wanted to experience bass canyon and the gorge and what a fucking year to do it. The crowd? Immaculate, my girlfriend and I didn’t meet a single bad vibe AT ALL. We went with a big group and met up with other friends and then frolicked around all over. I met the cookie lady on here and was gifted fresh cookies (sooooo fire), another off Facebook who made a wrist perler of my late doggo. Moshed in the pits, vibed on the hill, got so many dope trinkets and was able to exchange the favor and spread the energy.
The production was top tier, the way this festival is planned and how the team makes it come to life blows my mind. The staff was dope, camping was dope (we did terrace), and VIP actually felt like VIP. There’s not a single bad thing I have to say about the crowd, venue, production or staff. We will be back! Only thing we are going to change is our footwear, we were stomping around in dr martens all weekend and my feet are feeling it.
Thank you to everyone I crossed paths with. Special shout out to my friends I met in the line of the Ferris wheel and my Finland friend I met in the VIP bathrooms at hilltop.

This year the plur was amazing. Met a lot of amazing people and overall the vibes were TOP NOTCH. But something happened that fucked with me and my groups vibe on Saturday night.
We were all going crazy dancing having an amazing night together on the hilltop facing down the canyon stage during wankdats set.
And then randomly this girl walks up to me and my group and says “hate to be a stickler but can you guys sit down because you’re literally standing right in front of us blocking the view” in a really rude and demeaning tone. She then proceeded to go back to her spot behind us and sit down on her phone recording the ENTIRE SET. Didn’t stand or dance at all, just on her phone the whole time.
Normally we’d just brush this off but we were in the middle of our p**k so it ruined the entire set for us.
If you see this, you need to understand that if you sit down in a CROWD, you aren’t guaranteed a good view. Everyone is just trying to have a good time. You literally could have just stood up or moved 3 feet to the right. but instead you decided to be rude asf because you think you’re the main character 🤦🏻♂️
Overall everyone was super friendly and vibey but it just goes to show we all need to participate in plur because all it takes is one person to kill a mood👍🏻
