It has a low budget

Hi everyone, I'm really intrigued by BattleBit's concept (the massive battles, the polygonal graphics that are friendly to modest PCs, and the Battlefield-style gameplay), but I don't have the budget to buy it right now. What free alternatives would you recommend that offer a similar experience in terms of scale or gameplay style?

Into my heart an air that kills

From yon far country blows:

What are those blue remembered hills,

What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content,

I see it shining plain,

The happy highways where I went

And cannot come again.

Frugis rework

Previously Frugis was very compact and confusing. Players were surrounded by identical-looking buildings above ground and forced to navigate a maze-like underground area.

The Frugis rework is a direct response to those issues.

First of all, the map will now feature a proper subway system. The subway area is larger, more straightforward, and far less confusing to navigate. In total, there will be 5 metro stations — 2 connected to each team’s HQ, and 3 main objective stations:

  • A — Southern Station
  • B — Central Station
  • C — North Station

Station B (Central) is the largest station and is designed to support intense combat with up to 254 players.

The subway line itself contains 3 lanes:

  • One small red lane
  • Two blue lanes
  • A technical tunnel located between the tracks

Each station contains two levels:

  • The tube/platform level
  • The transit area above

Every station also features one or two main exits.

Now let’s talk about the city itself. The city is now twice as large as before and features several new, distinct points of interest.

D — Bank

The previous bank was very small, while the new bank includes a proper underground vault area that is easier to defend, multiple functional floors, and rooftop access.

E — Park

A large park located between the river delta. Controlling this objective gives teams a direct view over all major bridges.

F — Museum

A brand-new point of interest designed to diversify combat locations across the map. This 3-floor building offers strong vertical combat opportunities.

As you can see, the reworked Frugis is designed to support every gameplay style:

  • Snipers and tank players can fight around Objective E and the surrounding forest areas.
  • Medium-to-long-range infantry combat is focused within the city.
  • Close-to-medium-range players will find intense engagements underground in the subway system.

The city itself now features wider streets, more open space, and additional green areas to create a more varied and dynamic environment.

ETA isn't real anymore, is it?

Look, I've been away for years on this game because I was waiting for the next update. But I don't think this next update is gonna save the game.

I'm not doubting the devs ability to make updates good, or making a game worth while. But waiting for this long makes me want to get a refund. You guys are making a remaster for a remaster. When you could have made small updates either monthly or even big bi-yearly updates. But 2 WHOLE YEARS!?

People have already talked about the waiting for the update, but it's getting to a point where people have lost hope.

Be careful upgrading the visuals of a game. I want the devs and you to think about this.

The more beautiful a game becomes the more demanding it is on the Pc's & Servers; The less People will be able to play due to low specs. As you learned from the last overhaul Playtest 128 players made it lag tremendously (packet loss i think). This is the reason Battlefield cannot do the 128 players. I wish you strength aswell for you to find the key to making high details and high player base work. This may seem chirlish and obvious to most of you but common sense ain't common these days. Sometimes we need some reminders.

Something to think about. Continue improving the game of course. Thank you.
Sincerely the Infamous Yeti.

I can't upload video in the discord so im sorry guys for posting here but i have to.

I can't walk over this hmm interesting. Basically this suggestion is just improving the go over objects and character sliding on stairs. I get stuck here. At these corners. Making ability to go over objects higher.
