This is just me evaluating the flower removed from any health concerns or critiques about their sketchy history.

I understand that in itself is probably disqualifying for many, but I am curious if anyone else has been legitimately surprised by the freshness and sophistication of the terps after only reading about the brand from reddit comments.

The pictured strain is Blueberry muffin.

This one is a very strong Indica! Very nice smooth high and the smell is good and it’s not all dry ! The taste was funky or gass and coats my mouth pretty heavy ! But no seeet taste translates from smell to smoke ! But definitely a solid smoke first time I have ever seen slight peppery ash from preferred ! I would say it’s a solid 8.5 just because the smell and taste isn’t as smooth as I would like !

Haven’t seen blue river around in a minute but the papaya rosin and all the carts were 50% off so $35 for the rosin g and the carts were $25 1G carts. so bomb forgot how much I fw blue river 🔥

side note: anytime you can get your hands on some Ridgeline Lantz it’s a must grab. everything about Runtz you love with just that little extra on the exhale 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Taste like skittles but smells like pie. Definitely better than any china cart filled with mystery motor oil.

Small cloud production? Definitely not worth the $60 price tag.

Hey guys and gals - I moved to SF this year and the market here is truly exceptional. I’ve enjoyed reading all the posts here, trying the products recommended and learning more about cannabis. Thought it was time to contribute myself.

Picked up this eighth of Kambo by Life is Not Grape (their cut of Toad Venom). I was not in the city when I picked this up and I did not know of this brand but was intrigued after learning more on the lineage/history.

It’s straight gas, it is a 💯 on effects and high. I’m not much of a taste or appearance guy but I’ll say it burned a nice crisp white and was an easy draw on the bong (best way of consuming flower btw).

Effects are a strong head rush followed by an intensely satisfying body high—I think of this as a floating sensation physically paired with nice pressure between the eyes and a nice headband effect. Great euphoria.

This is probably the best— with Green Dragon’s cut coming in a very, very close second—Toad Venom cut (I’ve tried all of them listed here on this sub). Green Dragon cut is an excellent hybrid but felt this Kambo had more intense sedative effects. I like to feel slow stoned and stupid and this stuff right here excels.

I’m looking forward to trying more of this brand. It is a little on the pricier side but color me a fan of these folks. This is actual top shit imo.

I’ve tried a lot of the “top shelf” mentioned on this sub and some of them are a bit overhyped (e.g., Decibel Gardens, Wizard Trees, Teds Budz). Some brands have been consistent and potent and probably are a bit underrated (e.g., Nameless Genetics, Preffered Gardens). Just my two cents so chill before you get all heated but happy to argue

My favorite local dispensary has these super convenient smell jars - I like this brand Moon Valley a lot but can’t lie haven’t heard of most of these strains. If it wasn’t for these jars I feel like I wouldn’t know what to choose - any one else have jars like this? Or only the Hill Sf? Feel like the worst thing is opening a Mylar and being surprised by what is actually in the bag -

- classic Moon Valley strain leans heavily to Orange/ lemon citrus terps
- one of the strongest orange terp strains I have had to date

- Pineapple Passion Zmoothie -
- never tried this before - tasted like sweetarts with some splashes of fruit in there
- strong high- very uplifting had me high for hours after work

Man ohhh man do I have a lot to say about this ! Sheeesshhhhh this is some crazy gas right here I’m gonna tell you ! It has some really nice sweetness to it at first then just coats your mouth really well ! The smell you can smell before you even open the bag !

Smell- I give it an 9

Flavor - 9

Smell translated to taste - 9

Effects - 9

Look - 8.5

Freshness after a month - 9.5

This strain is a solid 9 across the board !

Don’t sleep on preferred yall ! If you can get the mixed light bags it’s worth it ! This stuff does out smoke a lot of indoor stuff and I don’t care how good you can grow the smell on this stuff and taste and flavor is unmatched !

Hoping someone with more experience can tell me I'm wrong. Not sure it's the best picture, but in the upper right of the bud I posted, appears to be some discoloration and almost cobweb like white. Bud rot?

Watermelon Z x Runtz. 1g Indica Indoor flower by Greenline. 29% THC and 1.2% Terps. Packaged at the end of March.

Never really was a part of the hype around Runtz and Z but I got quite a few promos recently and I'm starting to see the appeal. I got this one on 420 from Cake House.

I've seen quite a few Greenline strains but have never been a huge fan of the look. They tend to have this really fuzzy look that isn't photogenic at all. This strain wasn't as "fuzzy" as the ones I've seen. It's like 50/50 forrest green/purple shade and orange hairs. As you can tell this wasn't trimmed well. But when I took off the big leaves and stems on the outside it was still 1g so I guess I can't complain.

As soon as I opened the bag it was hard to get a good understanding of the smell. Smelled like some OG that is also sweet. Once I took the nugs out and really got up in there it almost smelled like a grape swisher. Grape and creamy but something just made it remind me of a blunt wrap. Idk.

It broke down nicely despite being on the stickier side. I really was not expecting much based on the look and smell. But damn did this hit hard. I usually roll a .7g joint. With this I rolled the whole G because I didn't see the point in saving a .3 and less than halfway through I started feeling the effects. Very euphoric. Didn't make me feel lazy or groggy. But I did want to chill.

A very solid smoke overall despite the look and smell. I think the 3.5 is $30 at Cake House. I'd say that makes it worth not being super pretty.

You've heard about it, you've seen it, and you know it. Formally Known As French Laundry by Maven. I guess they had some copyright issues with the name French Laundry which is a restaurant? I can't remember. I looked it up a while ago so the details are fuzzy. But they did get a cease and decist and had to rename it to FKAFL. 29% THC and 1.26% Terps. A cross of The Soap x LA Rouge. Two strains I'm not familiar with.

Ngl they're putting too much salsa on the taco, as they say, when it comes to the description. For me the smell was average. Very skunky and earthy at the forefront. With notes of sweet citrus and pine once ground up. Nothing super strong.

I was a bit disappointed upon opening the jar because if you saw the photos of this strain from several months ago you know it looked like that old school white widdow. Just completely covered in tricombs. It seems like the recent batches aren't as visually appealing. Still solid but not out of this world like before.

Fortunately it seems like the effects were not negatively affected. This is my first time trying it so I can't compare it to older batches but it was a very giggly munchie inducing high. You definitely want to have a good movie and some snacks ready because you're looking at a long lasting high where all you want to do is chill, eat, and laugh. It also lasted longer than most strains I have smoked recently.

Grabbed this for $40 otd at Caliva. Say what you will about Stiizy but before they took over Caliva had almost no top shelf options under $65. It's become my go to for AL, Connected, and Maven. All $40 otd multiple days a week.

Solid strain.
