Uli Hoeneß on Jamal Musiala: "The fact it happened again four days later really shocked me. I was speechless, which rarely happens to me. I go to bed thinking of him and wake up in the morning thinking of him. We support Jamal unconditionally" [@RTL_com] (more in post body)

Uli Hoeneß on Musiala: "We've already been informed about the problems for quite a long time. But it happened on the pitch for the first time against Leipzig last week.. I thought: well, if it doesn't happen soon again, then the medication will help. But the fact it happened again 4 days later really shocked me. I was sat on the couch speechless" [Sky/RTL]

Uli Hoeneß: "It's a drama, especially for Jamal. There were some signs of the problems, but it had never happened to him at the club before. But now with the two incidents on Saturday and yesterday, it's a problem first and foremost for the person Jamal, and also for the club in the medium term. We're all speechless, we weren't prepared for this. We'll have to learn how to deal with the situation"

How can the club support and take care of Jamal?

Uli Hoeneß: "There's unconditional support for Jamal. Our doctors are in constant contact with the specialists. The coach, Max and the entire club have always said that they'll do everything to kelp Jamal" [Sky/RTL]

Wouldn't it have been wiser to give Jamal some time off before taking another risk and sending him out on the pitch?

Uli Hoeneß: "The specialists, the neurologists treating him, have assured us - by writing - that from their perspective, there was nothing stopping Jamal from practicing high level sports. Since then, we were sleeping a bit better at night. But now honestly, we have to get used to this new situation. I'm speechless"

When did you become aware of the problems? Was that before the World Cup?

Uli Hoeneß: "We weren't informed clearly. There were some signs, but he was training, he played games. But I don't know whether these problems affected his performances, or whether it was his ankle problems. Our opinion was that after the World Cup, a new era starts for Jamal, with a good pre-season. And now the fact this happened in his first game back shocked us"

Do you think it's better now that the whole thing became public and is no longer a secret? So maybe now the way he's treated and the way his performances are assessed would be more helpful..

Uli Hoeneß: "There was a discussion on Monday between Max Eberl, Jamal himself, his agent and two team doctors. There was an agreement that if Saturday's incident happened again, then Jamal would speak about it publicly, which happened yesterday"

The alternate kit is fire!

I know the white, collared kit is all the hype atm, but I gotta say, this looks pretty freaking fire! I'm really torn with the kit I'll grab (might have to opt for both 😬).

What are your thoughts?

What do yall think of him?

I feel like hes a reliable player for now and will be one of the key players in this season but not sure about his future. What do yall think of him?

u/Dry_Condition5356 — 1 day ago

Musiala

I’ve seen a lot of people talk about his future, and it’s very annoying because he and the club confirmed it’s treatable. I have no doubt in my mind that he will be better than before. The amount of Bayern fans that I’ve seen hate on him is ridiculous. Some of our fanbase is genuinely scum. With medication they can often be stopped entirely, and soon we will see him at his best again. Gonna be the most satisfying I told you so ever

Positive news about Jamal Musiala

According to dpa, citing sources within Bayern, the club fully expect Musiala to continue playing at the highest level.
There is currently nothing to indicate otherwise.
Bayern also confirm that Musiala's appearances against Leipzig and Heidenheim were considered completely safe and had been thoroughly discussed with the medical team.
The most important thing is that Jamal is receiving the best possible care and remains positive about his future.

Love how natheniel brown already seems like a fit in kompany’s system

The two matches which i have seen brown play in he seems like a perfect fit in kompanys system. But the only fear i have is about his defensive skills.

u/Dry_Condition5356 — 1 day ago

Please take care of Musiala... Not as a player, but as a young humanbeeing

Dude im getting scared. This looks heavy.

He does down a second time and apparently noone knows whats up? Its not even warm outside anymore.

Just look after this guy. Not even as a player, but as a human, as the son of his mother, the brother of his sibblings...

With Musiala likely needing some rest for a while, who is most likely to be the starting CAM this season?

Honestly, in terms of raw talent, Karl clears them all, including Musiala. But for now, I'm picking Saibari. Also, take care of yourself Jamal 🙏❤.

Some More Details I Hope We Learn About Jamal’s Condition

First off, I’m so happy Jamal is doing okay. Both times seeing him down was so scary. Also you know what is unfortunate? In these two appearances against Leipzig and even the 3 mins against Heidenheim, I feel like i was seeing a rejuvenated Musiala. This is just another stumble in the road for him and ik he will pull through!

But, There are some details I must know about Jamal’s situation.

1: how long has he been diagnosed? When was his first episode?

If they knew about this pre-WC, did we sign Saibari to prepare for this?

2: is this something returning from childhood? Or did this develop cuz of all the stress he has been through?

OR, now this one is more out there. Did his previous operation to get the screws and plates out of his leg after the WC mess with his brain chemistry??? Sometimes when people get put to seep for operations, the drugs they use can mess with ur brain. I have someone very close to me who suffered and still suffers from a mental disorder that only arose after being put to sleep for the first time in his life for a surgery.

3: did the club and Kompany create the hidden training ground covers to cover up any episodes Jamal might have during training?

4: related to that, has Jamal has any episodes during training?

You know I never realized it, but after the Leipzig situation, the club never actually came out and said that “oh he was just dehydrated” or “it was just heat exhaustion” , we as the fans all just assumed that was the case. Now with this news, it all makes sense.

This Is The Real Bayern Munich

After Pep Guordiola's departure this club lost their identity.

Terrible manegerial signings and lucky to escape with one additional Champions League with Flick.

I think people feel now Bayern are recovering and could get back to realising who they really are in the European Stage.

However,

Last Season was very tough watching Bayern Lose to PSG. Not because of the loss of a semi final, but because the loss was against a team with minimal champions league heritage. For me a club like Bayern should have never ever allowed this to happen.

So not is all grand, especially considering the quater final exit to Inter Milan.

This club has to go back to minimum reaching Semi Finals, and anything below is a sackable offense. That has to be the standard.

With the old guard leaving the building and only Neuer remaining I wonder if the players know this. Is Kompany the right man to instill this value to the players?

I have my doubts.

Quater Final exit this season will be unacceptable.

I don't care who the opponents are we fear no one.

Last point, the most important for me. Bayern Munich represents the Bundesliga. If the Bundesliga champions are not consistently making the semi final every year, it is a bad outlook for the league, a bad outlook for German football.

Klopp has the keys to German National Team. Bayern need to wake up.

It is time for German football to be back.

Come on!!! Show them the standards!!!!

Yeah ... We got another Karl

Obviously did not have the dynamic preseason Lenny had last season But Tim binder looks super promising cuts in the box well and gives us pens against Rottarch egern and now heindenheim he has started our last 3 games so Kompany likes him

He may or may not be ready for the first team

Big mentions to Cardozo and Chavez I think they could make it too

Harry Kane addresses the ballon dor

“I am extremely proud to put in the season that I did last year," he said. "The Ballon d'Or is at big as it gets from an individual point of view.
"The Ballon d'Or is not in my hands. I've done what I can do in terms of putting in
performances. It's now down to votes, and other people, and the media, and stuff I can't control.
So we'll see what happens.”
"Obviously it would be amazing if it were to happen. But it's two or three months until that is decided so it's not something that's at the front of my mind right now."

With the new season almost here, how confident are you guys about this Bayern team?

Personally, I’m extremely bullish. Last season felt like a teaser of what Kompany is building. We dominated domestically and came close in Europe, but I still feel like this team has another level. Maybe I’m setting myself up for heartbreak, but I genuinely believe we can win it all this season. Bundesliga, Pokal and finally bring the Champions League back to Munich.

What are your expectations? What would make this season a success for you?

Musial not again.

This Musiala’s condition second game in a row worries me. O hope he is alright. He was cleared the medical team for the second friendly and he ends up near collapsed again in a span of 6 minutes. My question does the Medical not know what this happened again!
Take care of yourself Bambi :)

Is this how the away kit fits?

Bought a jersey off of eBay, probably not authentic sadly but is this how the collar should look? I feel like mine is pulled too far forward. Just wanted some insight from anyone who owned a version of this jersey.

JUST IN: Jamal Musiala is doing everything to get READY against Borussia Dortmund.

Jamal Musiala takes another step in his recovery.
Jamal completed a 30-minute session behind closed doors today at Sabener Straße.
He and Konrad Laimer were not part of the team training at the Campus.
Laimer took a knock against Leipzig, but there is no serious injury.
Meanwhile, Musiala continues his individual work as he gets closer to a full return.
One step at a time, Bambi.❤️‍🩹
