PSA dog owners

Friendly heads up: It may not be a good idea to leave your dog unattended in the front yard, even if the yard is fenced and you have multiple “Dog on Premises” signs.

My family unfortunately had an incident today where two people walking by reacted badly to our dog simply barking from our own yard.

Please remember that dogs are going to bark sometimes, and they are allowed to be in their own yard. If you're uncomfortable around dogs, it's perfectly okay to cross the street or give the yard some space.

Dog owners, please keep an eye on your pups when they're outside, especially if they're in a front yard.

Anyone know why the southbound side of the Clearview was closed last night?

Entrances at 35th St and Northern were both closed (not sure if others were as well) when I was there around 9:15. Police had blocked them off at the bottom of the entrances so people were trying to back up the ramps. Weird to see no cars at all going south on it

Bullying

I honestly never knew I would even come here and post this, but my husband happened to be going to the key food down on Springfield Boulevard when he said he saw a group of Boys and girls up to no good. I’m sorry for the word (thugs) basically come to a girl and randomly just pour milk on her. They didn’t beat her up or anything thank God you know, but still such a crazy act and the girl was scared. She was nervous. She doesn’t even know who they were and I’m so shocked that I even seen this type of thing here in this neighborhood. I mean I’ve seen fights from high school kids up at the Flagstar bank at Union Turnpike at the bus stop because we know that a lot of kids exchange buses to get to you the high school schools but such an atrocious act so sad. I hope she recovers and that the cops or that the kids get what they deserve.

Best Bar for 30-35 year olds

Recently moved here and I’m trying get a read on the nightlife, I go to OSP sometimes in the afternoon if a game is on. But after that Bell turns into a daycare, I have not seen any local options for my age bracket.

Anyone know of a good place to hang out with possibly other singles in the 30/35 age range? Or am I just reserved to Brooklyn and Astoria?
