Theory about the 0.39 update release date

So I've been looking at the release patterns for BeamNG lately and noticed something interesting. The very first video, "Revolutionary soft-body physics," dropped on May 28, 2012, and the new trailer came out on May 28, 2026. It feels like they really care about that anniversary.

​But here’s the thing—the original Tech Demo also released on August 3rd. Since they clearly pay attention to these specific dates, I’ve got a feeling the 0.39 update is going to drop on August 3rd. It just seems like the perfect anniversary for a major release.

​Am I overthinking this or does anyone else see a pattern with these dates? Just curious if I'm the only one looking at the timeline.

Error 10038

Can anyone help me fix this error? I have tried loading into different servers that I played yesterday without issue, and now I keep getting this no matter what modded server I try to join. Thanks in advance!

Edit:

I completely uninstalled all of beam from steam and all local files, as well as beammp. I can now access the server I was trying to when I made this post, but there are still some servers that I cannot access and receive the same error message string.

Is there any way to chat even witth guest accounts?

Somtimes whenever I join in a german server I dont get the message about "Log in to chat" so I am looking if there's a way to chat on any server

no matter what I do, i keep getting the error code 10038.

Everything else works fine with BeamMP, until I connect to a server, where it throws this error into the console, and while i am technically connected to the server, no one moves, or vehicles update, despite getting the vehicle update prompts. I've tried every official server pretty much, and reinstalled BeamMP, and BeamNG itself fully several times to try to fix this, and nothing works. So I have given up and decided to post about it here.

I’m going crazy can someone please help!

Trying to play beammp , I started did some deliveries. Purchased one truck online from another player and now I can’t make another purchase . Whenever I try to buy a trailer or a new car the game glitches and the menu disappears .

I’ve cleared the cache , I’ve cleared the mods and problem is still consistent . Can anyone please help

Keymaster usage without discord account

is it possible to use keymaster without a discord account? i feel like it shouldn't be required to have a discord account in order to make your own servers

BeamMP native linux install instructions not working

I'm trying to install the native version of BeamMP for linux on Bazzite, and both of the cmake commands in the root directory dont work because its saying that cmake is not a valid command. what else could I use to do the same thing, if anything?

eero router help

im trying to set up a server for me and my friend to play together with. but while settiing up the server i had to make a inbound and outbound and port forward but i think my eero router wont support this. is there a way i can fix this?
