I gotten these baked potatoes twice in a row now at the Beaverton farmers market. Pro tip don’t get it right when they open. Potatoes aren’t quite ready!

I don’t know about you but I have such a love for baked 🥔 potatoes. I don’t know why but I think potatoes might be like the perfect food and when they’re baked right and loaded with all the right ingredients it is such a comfort food and I personally think it hits all major food groups.

@papas831_ does their baked potatoes right. They have a ton of different meats to choose from and each baked potato comes with butter cheese sour cream jalapeños and chives. And they definitely don’t skimp on the butter which is my favorite part.

I got a half and half. Carne Asada and chorizo. And I think this is my new favorite combo. I also noticed that they add more potato on top of the potato you get. So you definitely can make two or three meals out of this.

I’ve also had their spiral potatoes at different events and they’re crispy seasoned well and just a great little snack.

Catch them every Saturday at the Beaverton farmers market. So good y’all

they also have a food truck at the @theheistpdx and a few other locations so even if you can’t find them at Beaverton go follow them so that you can see all the different events and places they’ll be!

Today we finally stopped by @universal.coffeeor to try their breakfast burrito and get a coffee.
I’ve passed by this little shop a lot and it’s a walk up window but it looks like they have a pretty dope outdoor seating area and green space.

I tried the
•chicken chorizo breakfast burrito (snack size)
•horchata coffee for the first time and it was really delicious!

This little shop is a two man show and I thought they had some decent pricing. If you haven’t tried @universal.coffeeor I suggest you stop by today!

Seems like they’ve started doing some sort of construction on the property in n out has for the Beaverton location… the location seems small I can’t even picture how the traffic here is going to wind up looking like but I’m sure it’ll be interesting 😅

Edit: To clear up confusion, the Tanasbourne location off 185th is opening soon, this one on Beaverton Hillsdale by the Chic Fil A is the site of the next in n out. There will be two locations fairly close to each other.

Does anyone know what happened to Bluto’s? This was the Mediterranean restaurant that took over the old Afuri location off of 1st and Watson. Now the inside just has everything inside meticulously covered in white wrap.
