happy official start to the US leg! day 1 was so much fun, the band is clearly so fond of Boston and I loved their musical features of the city. stuart is such a loveable guy and his interactions with the crowd were so wholesome. can't wait for Sinister tomorrow for an even more exciting setlist! hoping that it won't be quite as hot and that more lovely people will be standing and dancing! see y'all tomorrow!
Sound check this afternoon in Boston. They sounded great. Sound check lasted an hour and 15 minutes. Can’t wait for tonight. Stuart, of course, couldn’t have been nicer. I guess it’s a lot of work to put on a show!
Well, tomorrow is departure day (from Scotland) for a US trip to catch the gigs in New York and LA. Bonus are the Camera Obscura gigs announced in LA too !

Hey pals - I have two tickets to Massey Hall on the 26th for If You're Feeling Sinister. I am incredibly bummed because its one of my all time favorite albums but I have a conflict I cannot avoid.
Happy to get as much of the money I paid back, but I am not too worried, would just love to see them in the hands of someone who would love to be there as much as me.
Back in the good old Limewire around 2005-2006, I downloaded a Belle and Sebastian song it is was favourite of them. It was Stuart on vocals with just a cello and an acoustic guitar. On limewire it was named Sodastream, but it was on no B&S album or b-sides. Since my computer broke, I have always been looking out to find this song. Anyone here has an idea what it could be please 🙏?

My city's show is taking place at a theater that's part of an opera complex and feels very fancy. Do I dress up or do I just wear what I wore to the last B&S show I went to (a tee shirt and short jorts -- granted, that one took place in an amphitheater outside of a museum).
I was up behind only one person at their show the last time they played Brooklyn but had a meltdown (that crowd was WILD and I had taken something too strong, I’ve been totally sober now for 1.5 yrs now, so I don’t have to worry about that part) I am trying to figure out the perfect time to get there to be close (but maybe not barricade again). I bet there will be familiar faces, my friend and I are hoping to dance if there are any bars close by afterwards ? Say hi if you remember me haha
Saw both gigs, both were brilliant but night two was on another level. Bawled me eyes out during “The Fox in the Snow”. And is my shirt cute or what?
It was one of the greatest concerts I’ve been to. So wholesome and exciting!!
