I first heard the album in the late 90’s and have been an occasional listener since then. I just downloaded and listened to it all at once. It is such a good album. I liked it back then and it sounds even better with age.
I'm looking for ways to preserve natural colors. This time, the heat won out again.
It's my second attempt at baking bread with natural food colorings: beet powder, spinach powder, and turmeric + paprika. This time, I added a pinch of a crushed vitamin C tablet, but it didn't help.
The base is just a simple sandwich bread dough. I tried "laminating" the layers by brushing each one with softened butter while rolling and folding the dough. This wasn't a serious pastry-level laminating attempt, but getting greedy with the number of layers was still probably a mistake.
Because of the butter, this bread turned out so fluffy it can basically be inhaled :)
