Whatcom County Prosecuting Attorney Candidates

https://www.scribd.com/document/1064276487/Jesse-Corkern-WSBA-Disciplinary-Record-Formal-Admonition-Two-Year-Probation-2018

Jesse Corkern is one of the finalists for prosecuting attorney in Whatcom County. Above is a link to the 39 page disciplinary document from the WA state Bar Association. He had six violations of the rules of professional conduct. Discipline included an admonition, two years of probation, and payment of costs. I don't think this was talked about enough when the primaries were happening. I'm genuinely curious. What do y'all think about this?

🎸ISO Charming Music Loving B’ham Man // 🎟️ Jeff Tweedy Show // Seattle Neptune Theatre April 2026

Did you have an extended conversation with a solo Seattle 56W in the lobby of The Moore prior to the Jeff Tweedy show?

You are fit, handsome, ~55-60M. Warm smile, 6’+. Also early to the show, we spent time together with your adorable 18-year-old son and connected about the excitement for college in the fall.

You worked at WWU. We both love skiing at Mt. Baker. Between Macie Abrams and Tweedy, you found me standing near my seat to ask for my son’s music recommendation I mentioned. I thought of offering to text you the album link so I could give you my name and number, yet didn’t! SILLY ME!

Your daughter and my son will both be at OSU this fall, so if this post does not connect us, then perhaps a serendipitous beaver will.

If this description matches someone you know, please feel free to pass the message along. I feel like a detective! 🕵️‍♀️ The world needs more connection, right? Thanks for your your help crowd sourcing, Reddit Bellingham.

I’m 5’9, natural pixie cut.

Perhaps this charming man would like to accompany me to a show in Ballard or Bellingham? If unavailable for a date, then please accept my warm wishes and gratitude for a lovely and memorable encounter.

Looking to Rehome 6 Year old Husky - Bellingham, WA

I'm looking to for a new home for my 6 year old dog. He's a Siberian husky named Perseus. There's a combination of factors that I've had to consider in making this hard decision. I'm hoping to find a home where he can be given attention and love while having someone who can match his level of activity. Due to my life circumstances (health concerns and my busy schedule), I'm not able to provide this to the level that I wish he could have.

He has frequently been described by others as a silly sweetheart. He's all the good sassy parts of a husky, full of "awoos" and side eyes. He loves long walks, hiking, playing fetch and tug of war. He especially loves a sniff stroll where he just takes in all the smells on a walk. When he's tuckered out from a long day, he'll enjoy sunbathing or a fat nap nearby. He's not a lap dog, but likes to be close by.

Perseus would thrive best in a home that can be patient and understanding that there's still a ways to go in terms of socialization (he's a Covid puppy) to other people and dogs. He gets very excited to meet new people that he tends to jump. However, I can't stress enough that he is a very good boy in all other aspects.

He has had very minimal contact with children but has always been gentle. As for living in a home with cats, I'd say it would be a no, unfortunately. But he hasn't been around many cats, just around the ones we might see on walks that he scares off.

Please reach out if you think you or someone you know might be interested in meeting him. I'm located in Bellingham, WA but I am willing to consider people further away as well.

My Dad is a Missile Scientist

When I was having a bday party at my dad's as a child I asked my dad why his phone won't stop ringing. He said "oh sorry hun, they're testing my missiles in our airspace over Tijuana and San Diego" . He designed the very first 'Missile Guidance Systems' and how their minds worked. He also WROTE speeches for the Secretary of defense to be delivered to Congress. He was a big deal. He just died a year ago. Google Dr. Robert James Jezik, PhD. Purdue University.

Paralegals in the area?

I’m wanting to move to Bellingham but don’t see many paralegal opportunities, at least on Indeed. I’ve got about four years experience, but am wondering if making the switch to the medical field would guarantee more job opportunities in Bellingham. If there are any paralegals out there, how did you find your job? Is Indeed just not the place to search?

Car Removal/Donation in Bham?

Hey!

So I have an old 2001 Ford Ranger that lived its life in the fullest. I drove that thing for about 20 years, but it finally bit the bullet (rear diff went out I’m pretty sure and repairs for it building up made it just not worth it to me).

Anyways, I decided to buy a new car, but now I have the old one sitting and rotting. It pains me to see this, and I need to do something with it, so my question is, what do you guys recommend?

I’ve thought about donating it, but I have heard questionable things about Kars for Kids and stuff. When I was in the fire department, I know I donated my very first car so we could train on vehicle fires with it. However, it’s not completely dead. It can drive it a bit (just horrible grinding when turning and I wouldn’t take it on ANY main road, even meridian), and I know Rangers are good parts cars, so it might hold some value.

It’s literally the first car I bought on my own, and my current car I have is the first new one I bought as an adult, so I have no idea really what to do with old cars if you don’t trade them in.

I would like to pay nothing if that’s an option, but I am also willing to pay a pick up fee if necessary.

Any insight would be welcome.

Chipotle and Love = Home!

My baby boy will never ever have abandonment issues ever again. He's home now, forever. If people get a chin it should be because they studied up on these little balls of fluffy love and are prepared for what is needed and enjoyed by the little guys/gals and BE PREPARED! 💜👀

Moving to Bellingham next month for school, what are some things in the area I should check out?

I start studying psychology and studio arts at WWU next month, and am moving from Wyoming. I'm excited to embrace life in a bigger city and am wondering what are some things to check out? It could be stores, parts of the city, anything!

Looking for band

Hey! I’m moving to Bellingham soon to start at WWU and I’m hoping to find some people to jam with or join a band. I played all through high school — mostly for fun — and I’m not gonna pretend I’m the best out there, but I’ll always show up, try my hardest, and put in the work.My main genres are rock, metal, and country, but I’m down for anything with good energy.Heads up: since I’m just getting settled into college, I might not have much gear or a car right away. So early on, I might only be able to do rehearsals close to campus or lighter‑commitment stuff. Once I’m more established, I’d love to start gigging and getting involved in the local scene. If you’re cool with someone who’s dedicated, easygoing, and building up their setup as they go, I’d love to jam or see if I’m a good fit for your band.

Dm me if you have any questions or want some of my content.
