As the title says I'm looking for a place to watch the Australia v Egypt world cup match tomorrow with some friends. It is at 4AM so I am not sure if any will be open.

Hey guys! I found this sub while searching for people's opinions on Bendigo. I might be moving there in December this year from overseas. So I wanted to reach out and ask how life is, how are you all, any tips while immigrating? Cheers!

i haven't had any problems with other bus stops, and i've only been on mitchell street twice, but for some reason mitchell street is super frightening to be at alone idk.. ive seen people just straight scream at eachother and all.. even the fkn station feels safer than mitchell street because at least there's some security there

Would anyone like to share their thoughts on Girton Grammar please, especially relating to neurodiversity. Would a child's ND be embraced?

We're coming up to the final stage of our new build, with handover estimated to be about a month away but no set date yet. We'd like to get a private building inspector to do our final one, and I've gotten a couple of quotes which have varied greatly.

One that I've seen be highly recommended many times was Rod Poyser. He has quoted us $2000 and was very good explaining everything over the phone. Another we were quoted through Jim's franchise was $400. Obviously these are very different quotes, and I was just wondering if anyone had recommendations ​​​of inspectors or if anybody could give insight as to why Rod would charge $1600 higher than another inspector?

Update: had another great chat with Rod and we've decided to go ahead and use him! Will try to remember to update again after the fact (waiting on a handover date confirmation) to let everyone know how we went!

Inspired by the recent post in this sub complaining that there are not enough posts:

It’s become increasingly obvious that people don’t understand how to access an intersection to turn right at a set of green lights.

More and more I see cars stay behind the pedestrian crossing lines on a green light when they should be entering the intersection (followed by the car behind them) in preparation to turn right when the road is clear (or the light turned red).

When did people forget this important step in keeping traffic moving efficiently?

I remember reading about a proposal to build more commercial tenancies on a block opposite Epsom shops, behind the milk bar and post office. Walked past it today and there are still fences up from demolition work done a while ago. Anyone have any idea if it’s still going ahead? Is there any word on what shops might be coming?

Hi all, hope you're doing well.

I'm just wondering if anyone has good recommendations for therapists that help with adults with autism/social anxiety. I haven't been diagnosed, but one 'conversation' with me and you'd know I was on the spectrum. I struggle a lot when talking to people and being engaging, and when there is someone I'd like to be friends with it seems to be one-sided. It's crushingly lonely, and I want to do something about it. If anyone knows of someone who can help with these kinds of issues I'd greatly appreciate being pointed in their direction.
