Im so dissapointed

Long rant, sorry, but this series is really close to my heart because I used to be obsessed with BBM when I was a toddler and preteen, and I remember really liking the idea that Beyblades were kind of just a force of nature that existed in the world alongside other natural forces. They had chosen Bladers and everything.

But rewatching it, I really hate how this show does not just lean into its supernatural elements. The show is boring as fuck if the vestiges are just visual flair and we are really just watching two random pieces of metal with no meaning clashing. Like, what does Madoka mean during the Gingka versus Julian battle when she says, "Oh, there has to be a real reason. It cannot be a curse." What the fuck? Why is this show so selective about what is real and what is not? All the cool parts are explained away with boring bullshit that destroys the uniqueness of the show. Her side literally says Beyblades came out of a star fragment, and we have been watching tiny spinning metal tops obey their wielders' speech as if they understand what is going on and destroy entire stadiums. But suddenly a curse is too unrealistic and has to be explained away with some badly written, made up "realistic" garbage.

It is so frustrating because Beyblade Metal is mostly remembered for how over the top it is supposed to be, and that is what makes it cool and different. But in reality, the show really tries to convince you that these are nothing more than spinning metal tops. It is just so bad at it that it is remembered as over the top, even when it is specifically trying not to be. It just ends up looking ridiculous because there has to be some supernatural element to it. But no, let us just write out the actual cool parts, like there actually being an ancient mythical curse contained within a Beyblade, by saying, "Uh, electromagnetic waves, bro," destroying any uniqueness Gravity Destroyer had because, by that logic, literally anyone could have Gravity Destroyer. There could be thousands of Gravity Destroyers, but there are not because... why? Sirius could have just taken Julian's or Damian's Bey, reverse engineered it, mass produced it, and taken over the world easily because, in this universe, that is just how spinning works. What is enhancing, anyway? I guess Ziggurat was just giving these children repeated heart attacks or something for no reason.

That is why I think the Dark Power is not actually anything supernatural. It is just schizophrenia or PTSD, and Tsubasa just got lucky every time he supposedly "went crazy" and got stronger. Why? Because that is what the show wants you to think. You cannot have a supernatural ancient dark force that tries to corrupt the Bladers it infects and makes them stronger while feeding off their misery, while at the same time having characters be shocked that there might be an ancient curse within one of the most prestigious Beyblades on the planet.

This show really tries to have its cake and eat it too, and it ends up hurting itself because it just ends up looking ridiculous. Honestly, it kind of ruins the story altogether.

I know it is not that serious, but rewatching the show now that I am (a bit) older, this really bugs the hell out of me. Maybe the realism thing will grow on me as i get older and have a fully developed frontal cortex at twenty five, but that is going to be a while.

Is Ryuga a Omniscient?

How did Ryuga knew everything that was happening with Gingka and his friends and other.

  1. Gingka hasn’t mastered Galaxy Pegasus’s power.
  2. Tsubasa effect with the dark power
  3. Watch out for the US team (Formerly) knew that they were a bunch of fake bladers
  4. Kyoya hasn’t fully mastered Fang Leone
  5. Gingka doesn’t know what he needs to about Cosmic Pegasus.

More help with parts

Sorry for the back to back post, I had found my first ever beyblade and need help identifying the face bolt and the preformance tip on it. It was given to me by a neighbor kid when i was a kid myself and they introduced me to beyblade. Its a mix or random parts but im now trying to do my best to figure out what it is. Its seen much better days as anyone can tell, and the sticker came off of the face bolt years ago. I can only recall it having green on it. If anyone knows anything i'd greatly appreciate it

(Yes at some point i did try to repaint the red Rock fusion wheel in acrylic paint, it didnt go very well and quickly came off)

Ryuga vs Kyoya metal fury re rematch

I think they missed an incredible opportunity for a third match between Ryuga and Kyoya. Their first match was maybe the greatest battle in all of beyblade, imo it is. However their second battle was suoer anti climactic, you had Ryuga tells Kyoya he hasn't mastered his bey yet. Honestly think they could have expanded on this, I think you should have a third battle specifically I think you should do it on the beyster island tournament, I think you do this match after Ryuga beats King. For some continuity, you still have Kyoya leave after Dynamis but you have him enter the tournament, you have him see Gingka and the gang but they dont see him so he stays away. Now in the tournament you can have Kyoya beat some randoms, some people no one cares about or you maybe have him do his best of 3 vs Aguma after Aguma loses to King and have Kyoya beat Aguma easier to show his growth and basically being like, "Im a lone lion and ive beaten you twice. Get your game up not your club up," or some comment about being a loner (even tho the whole loner thing is honestly a character assassination from the lesson he learned after his second lose to Gingka). You then have him run into Ryuga, not both are smoke demons to the max and Ryuga is a prime trash talker and is talking his game vs Kyoya. Kyoya obviously gonna call that loss a fluke and down to go again. This time they have a battle reminiscing of their first battle where Ryuga and him are having explosion after explosion, have Ryuga try and steal his power and he uses the lion gale force wall to push his bey back, goes up and uses the reverse wind strike and Ryuga powers up and with his power conters the move, you are doing this while you have massamune trying to make it to the end. At some point you have a clash of special moves where you have Dragon Emperor Supreme Flight vs King Lion Crushing Fang and the clash ends with neither bey stopping. You have Ryuga and Kyoya trade trash talk and have them say the real battle starts right now and have both charge up annnnd thats when Massamune makes it to the end to face Chris. The battle ends in a draw without having Ryuga use his ultimate move while giving Kyoya the respect, maybe you have Ryuga give him his flowers saying hes finally mastered his bey and is a worthy opponent but his star fragment will be his and he still hasnt shown his full power. This pisses Kyoya off because the match ends prematurely and realizes hes still weaker than Ryuga and he leaves there and travels to the wilderness to go train where he finds Tithe and Yu while Ryuga does his thing vs Chris and everyone else. I think this could be done as instead of having Massamune just make it to the finals you show him through the entire episode facing weak bladers, maybe someone give him a small challenge, but him rushing to the end and during that you are focusing on this fade of legends. Of course you have to push their battle back an episode but I think you could honestly do the battle between Massamune and Chris during the first half and do the rest of the next episode in a half of an episode.

But what do you guys think? Would this work? Would this fit the story? Would this make the Ryuga and Kyoya fan bases happy?

Here's all Kenta Yumiya's beys.

Yes there is a second flame Sagittario since in episode 7 Kenta puts a metal face on Sagittario after

Madoka Amano gave it to him.

u/Alexanderkonmanga — 24 hours ago

Do you think Kenta introduced Yu to Osamu, Takashi and Akira?

Kenta is friends with this trio and became friends with Yu at the end of Metal Fusion, so it would make sense for Kenta to try to introduce his close friends to each other.

How far Realistically the strongest Zero-G/Shogun Steel Era Bladers can go against Pre-Nemesis Crisis Bladers?

Considering that Beyblades Post-Nemesis Crisis are relatively weaker compared to Pre-Zero-G ones for safety measures and make beyblade enjoyable and safe for everyone again by nerfing them by not making them portable pocket NUKES after what Nemesis did to the world, how far Gingka, Kira, Sakyo and Zyro can go against Pre-Nemesis Era Crisis Bladers in their 100% (including their Synchrome system to aid them.)

Phoenix's arguments for top 3-5 in Metal Fusion

I just wanted to outline my own take on the title here! Let me know your thoughts below.

Phoenix seems to be respected a bit here, but does anyone not think he's absolutely busted in metal fusion?? Let me outline a few concepts below.

Phoenix's scaling to Tsubasa

Right before Phoenix fights Gingka, he fights Tsubasa...and he one-shots him (episode 39). This Tsubasa used "Counter Smash" as his special move.

Side note: According to the Wiki (I don’t recall any actual arguments in the series for this being the case), it's an alternate name for his "Counter Stance" move. Please let me know any other information about this, if you have any.

Now, you *could* diminish this feat by saying Tsubasa is fatigued from fighting Gingka's gang. Admittedly, his is a thing in the series. Later in the series when Hyoma fights some Dark Nebula folk, Doji comments on the fact that he must have used up a lot of strength. Although, in my opinion, Tsubasa should be fine, given the fact that he showed no signs of fatigue after his fights before Phoenix. The fighte were also all relatively low-mid diff IMO.

The generally consistent power levels of the members of Gingka's gang through the Battle Bladers period

This is kind of insane because GENERALLY, the versions of characters here are at around the same level as their Battle Bladers versions, given that the tournament is a very short period after. Between tournament rounds, besides warming up, there doesn't seem to be any indication of any serious training (someone can check me on this).

Tsubasa's scaling to Ryuga (Episode 45)

This is kind of crazy because Tsubasa *did* show some sort of (low-mid relativity to Ryuga IMO). He knew he couldn't take him in repeated head-on clashes so he was more strategic but throughout first clash showed him putting up a fight and Counter Stance beat the Dragon Emperor Soaring Bite Strike. I believe Ryuga, given his reactions, WAS pushed a bit this fight, and this is with Hikaru's power absorbed by the way.

So if there is that big of a strength gap between Tsubasa and Phoenix, there's a conversation to be had about how well Phoenix does against round 1 and round 2 Ryuga, but that's a different discussion.

Yes, Phoenix lost to Gingka before Battle Bladers but this Gingka is kind of a monster... (Episodes 39-50)

You *could* argue Gingka gets stronger between Battle Bladers rounds, but I think it is more likely that Gingka just holds back less and less. When Gingka fights Reiji, he seems to be significantly on the ropes (he does admit Poison Serpant's attack mode was a bit dicey or hard to deal with), but while overcomes Reiji, he states that Pegasus isn't even using his full strength. This makes sense! Against Yu, he seems to be going exteeme diff, but he could also just be holding back a bit. And when pushed against Ryuga, you could argue that before Ryuga gets taken over by the dark power in episode 50, Gingka is actually just beating him with his own strength, and doesn't get power from Hikaru, Tsubasa, Kyoya and everyone until later. Under these assumptions, Pegasus' raw attack power stops the Dragon Emperor Soaring Bite Strike (episode 50), and does the same this to Serpent's Venom Strike (episode 47).

And with all of this, Phoenix had Gingka on the ropes, especially in raw power.

To summarize, I'm playing with the idea that Gingka is at mostly his full power (outside of friendship amps) when he fights Phoenix and merely reveals more and more of his power throughout Battle Bladers.

So Phoenix is to surpass a Tsubasa and "match" a Gingka that scale to higher-tier characters, only being surpassed by Gingka, Kyoya, and arguable Doji (he's a monster on his own).

I think I've brought up some points to think about, so please let me know everything from you agreements to your hard disagreements, but I'd like to make some concluding statements.

Scaling problems and concluding statements

If you believe that characters (mainly Tsubasa and Gingka) all grow significantly stronger during Battle Bladers or that they got stronger between the Tsubasa fight and Battle Bladers, then the Phoenix scaling becomes a little less impressive.

Of you believe Gingka is constantly getting blader spirit amps and constantly fighting above his usual capacity, this scaling also becomes less impressive.

If you, however, believe this scaling then you might be able to even assert that Phoenix's scaling to Gingka makes him more impressive than Kyoya, who, for the most part, fought and went extreme diff with a Ryuga that didn't really use the Dark Power to the end. If you believe this scaling, Phoenix scales to a Gingka who scales to a stronger Ryuga, who IS using borrowed power.

Oh, and Doji was giving this Phoenix a run for his money. I don’t agree with using Ryuga one-shotting Doji as an anti-feat or means to break the chain considering the fact that Dark Wolf had taken a significant amount of damage from the previous fight (it was cracked) and Doji was in very poor shape, something that is represented as connected to a blader's power (fatigue used to represent blader's reduced power or damage being correlated to a blader's stamina, etc).

As for Doji...I wonder if he trains. He was seemingly defeated by a much weaker, episode 12 Gingka, but is able to scale to a Phoenix that beat a much stronger Gingka (episode 33)... Maybe he was holding back during the first interaction.

In conclusion I think you could argue a top 5 like this.

1 and 2. Gingka and Ryuga.

  1. Doji - is probably >= Phoenix

  2. Phoenix via relativity to Gingka (not amped by everyone) and gapping Tsubasa.

Potentially, gap....

  1. Kyoya.

You might be able to get Phoenix to 3 if you don't value Kenta's contribution to his fight against Doji, but I think given what I've outlined, 4 is safe.

This all depends on certain interpretations of character scaling, but do you guys think?

Let me know if this is an okay flair, lol.
