Advice for getting RCDD jobs with no PM experience

My situation currently is that I am a lead/service technician in structured cabling at a great company that just happens to not have any PM/estimator/office roles available at the moment. I'm taking it upon myself to study and get my RCDD (already have my TECH) because I know this is the career I want to pursue.

The question I guess I have is when I eventually get my RCDD, I won't have any experience with being a PM or estimator, and would only have a decade of technician/foreman experience. What would be the next logical stepping stone with my RCDD cert to make the next jump in my career? I'm feeling really lost at the moment and don't really know where to start looking.

Thank you all for the replies in advance

Advice for Using Cory and Steve TDMM Practice Test

Hi Everyone,

I recently subscribed to the Cory and Steve TDMM 60-day practice test for my RCDD exam preparation, and I would like to ask for some advice on how to use the platform effectively.

The platform includes quizzes, flashcards, and around 22 chapters. For those who already used it, what study approach worked best for you? Is it better to finish one chapter completely first before moving to the next, or study all chapters first and take the quizzes along the way?

I would also like to know when the flashcards are most effective to use. Do you usually use them before the quiz, after the quiz, or throughout the whole study process?

Another thing I noticed is the lock symbol near the skip button at the top-right corner. What is its purpose?

Also, after completing the 20 questions for Chapter 1, my progress still shows 0%. Is this normal, or am I missing something?

Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
