So excited to have received this pen in the mail, it’s the most I’ve spent on a pen so far, I’ve missed other drops before, they sell so fast, but managed to secure this one through Blade Capone authorized reseller.

Give away details: I used RedditRaffler.com to select 11 winners from my previous post allowing entries. Reddit Raffler works by entering the post you want to draw winners from. You select criteria to draw winners from. I leave the criteria open, so no one is excluded. Press submit, and it pulls from all the comments.

Prizes: Since we have such a large prize pool, I just wrote down all the items. Created bundles of prizes. And wrote down 1-11 before winners were drawn. Then I used the order given to me from the Raffler and assigned the winners in that order.

For the sake of ease LBB will stand for Leather Bundle and Bracelet. This is a handmade leather bundle which includes catch all tray, pen stand, pen sleeve, and wallet. As well as a handcrafted brass or copper metal bracelet.

I've been thrilled to see Big Idea really lean hard into developing their US capabilities! They have expanded the US shop quite a bit over the years since they introduced their first US made pen. The Ultem Fountain Edc.

Since that time, they've added more mills, more lathes, laser engraver, 3D printer, cerakote booth and oven, as well as more crew!

They've added the Bronze Pocket Pro and Stonewashed Ti Pocket Pro. Most recently they added the US Stonewashed Ti Bolt Action pen. As well as limited run colabs with CRK and McNees.

They didn't stop at pens! They introduced the US Lookout, first in Clip Point. But have already added a Tanto, Drop Point, and Reverse Tanto! With more blade shapes on the way! Wharnie coming soon?! Both in Magnacut and a smaller run of NitroV.

They created the Lookouts big brother, The Signal. Which is larger and a more robust knife, perfect for camping and outdoors adventures. These originally dropped in NitroV, but are now available in Magnacut!

Does it ever dry out prematurely?

I've been using a stainless steel sleeve from Sharpie for the last few years, but would appreciate the upgrade to a retractable design.

I saw a similar Bolt Action Marker from Marksmith that states:

"NOTE: The Marksmith bolt action clip has about 1mm of free play when retracted. This is intentionally designed to ensure that the cartridge is fully retracted, and the cap is completely closed to prevent drying out."

Does the BID magnetic system have any problems with that, seeing as they use the same cartridge?

Good morning all - I am curious what refill is best for thin lines. I take notes in a small field journal and would like to find a thinner tipped refill to make fitting in the lines a little easier.

Lost Dutchman Finnigan wallet. It's molded really nice to all my stuff. I tucked the flap in with the card since I don't carry many. Use the front flap for cash. And added a beard comb slot. The high wear areas are darkening. It looks so good to me! Really been enjoying the wallet.

I've got more blue on a well. Double Stuffed Cobalt boots, belt, key clip, tool sheath. I love this leather!

Well, I really can't believe how fast this community has grown! Not even 2 years old yet, and we're about to hit 5k subs. As it stands today, we're at 4,766 members. I remember the 1k give away which feels like it was just yesterday! Big thanks to everyone who posts and comments within the sub. And to Brantley and the Big Idea guys for allowing me to create the sub.

Once we cross 5k. I will be doing a big give away. With all kinds of gear. Not only Big Idea stuff, but also hand crafted leather items, and some other interesting things as well. There will be multiple winners.

The Big Idea Crew knocked the USA Bolt out of the park. It’s my first pen with the 13 lines but not my first bolt. The action on this out the box is smooth like water.

The Damascus items are well just beautiful and the bolt I got is almost perfect blue and purple in other light.

Shirt is very nice

Heavyweight cotton and just has a well made feel to it. I’m 5’10 225 wearing an XL and it fits me just how I like them too. Not tight though the shoulders and arms but also not to baggy at the body.
