Hello I recently successfully coded my X5 after the community told me to switch from a WiFi adapter to an ENET adapter and it worked like a charm. My questions are this, auto start/stop feature I disabled in the settings and yet it is still doing. Is there another place I need to code it as well. - Also I noticed I didn’t see an option anywhere to code the ambient lighting. Is this an expert mode only thing or is this is not something that can be done with an ENET adapter? Thanks in advance for your responses.

I have a BMW iX (2022, GCC spec). The car was delivered with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. CarPlay has always worked fine but Android Auto has never worked properly and always shows a “connection failed check Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi” error.

After many dealer visits, BMW replaced the head unit once. Android Auto worked briefly after the replacement, but once iDrive was rebooted, it stopped working again and reverted to the same error. Dealer insists it’s a region issue, and I think so as well. Same phone works in other BMW/cars btw.

Based on my research, it seems to be related to Android Auto FSC / provisioning / authorization or region‑based restrictions on the MGU, especially since it worked once and then failed again after a reboot. I’m looking for anyone who can take a look into this and see whether this can be fixed without changing the vehicle region, and in a way that survives reboots. Or even region change, is that also a possible option?

Also to note: my car does not have internet connectivity, so no connected drive or myBMW app connectivity, so no OTA, software updates only ever get done through dealer.

I personally don’t have any coding skills, I’m looking for anyone who does remote coding.

Hi everyone, I’m trying to use bimmercode for the first time but I’m running into an issue. I have a 2019 540ix (g30), a little over a year ago I used a site called bimmer remote coding to get full screen CarPlay. I had to download this app to a computer and run a program. Bimmercode requires the headunit to be in its OEM state, so I used the previous software to restore to OEM, but bimmercode still says it’s not in its OEM state. I’ve tried using the old application to reinstall full screen CarPlay and then return it to OEM again after but it made no difference. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏

Does anyone know how too get rid of the tpms sensor light ? I cant go into eco , sport or sport + because of it and it’s kinda annoying. I looked up some videos but the bimmercode I have looks different. Thanks

So I recently got into BimmerCode and coded pretty much everything possible 😄

I wanted to ask how to change the wheel model shown in the car’s system so it displays the correct one — specifically 741M Glossy Black.
Maybe someone can help?

And if possible, I’d also like to add Shadowline.

I already found how to change the car color, but I still haven’t figured out these two things: the wheels and Shadowline.
