I've worn Arizona for decades but when faced with returning to an office 1 or 2 days a week they're just a tad bit informal so went with something closed toed.
To me they look fake and chunky. But at this point idk anymore.
I finally managed to convince my husband to let me buy him a pair of Birkenstocks. Now I just need to figure out which ones to get.
His biggest concern is sweaty feet.
Maybe: Arizona - Birko-Flor Nubuk??
Please help me choose! I bough 4 pairs but can only keep one! Thanks
Hi all!
These are the EU 43s, regular.
The issue that I’m having is that the widest part of my feet is at the middle. This makes my widest part sit on top of the margins.
I have measured and checked the size charts on the birk website, and a 44 wouldn’t help, it would be just too big.
This way I have either some sort of discomfort at the side of my foot, or my foot is sliding too much upwards where it has more space (thus my fingers touch the margins).
Did anyone have the same issue? Does the break in period fix this?
Hello, I'm wanting some Boston's should I get my normal birks Arizona size in them? Or do they fit larger?
Thank you!
First time with Birkenstocks and not sure if these are how they are supposed to fit or are too small
I think my second and third toes being longer than my big toe mucks up the traditional toe gap sizing
Update: I can swap for a larger size
They look so bad.
This is why it's worth searching out (and paying more for) authentic Birkenstocks. The fakes may look 'close enough' when they're new - but they turn to mush when you wear them.
This poor person probably picked up a bargain on Vinted and didn't understand what they were missing with the real thing. At least, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming they don't realize they're passing on fakes.
Boston in ginger brown Horween. beautiful, thick leather.
first thoughts - seem to feel more snug than same size and model in suede. perhaps the thickness of the leather.
expecting these to take a while to break in but to last a decade with a couple of sole changes.
Hello, my Arizona is just arrived and I'm super excited to wear them. Hoping y'all can give me some thoughts on the sizing. I'm also curious how loose the straps are supposed to be. These are a 45, and I'm afraid I may have to size up
First time Birkenstock here!
Normally a 9.5 ish, sometimes 10.
They feel a tad snug without socks.
What do you think?
Thank you!
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like Birkenstocks aren’t quite the same value they used to be.
I still really like them and own several pairs, but with some models now easily costing €120–150+, I find myself questioning the pricing more and more. Some of my older pairs somehow felt a little more substantial too, although that might just be nostalgia.
I’ve also wondered whether anything changed after the company changed ownership a few years ago and started moving more into the premium/luxury direction.
I still buy them because I can usually get them through a friend’s employee discount, which makes the price a lot easier to justify. At those prices, I still think they’re absolutely worth it. But honestly, if I had to pay full retail every time, I’d probably own a lot fewer pairs.
Anyone here who’s been wearing Birkenstocks for a long time noticed something similar? Do you think the quality has actually changed, or have the prices just reached a point where we naturally expect more?
My left toes slightly graze the rim of the soles as I walk but my right foot feels nothing. And I don't really feel anything when sitting. And the arch is exactly in the right spot. So I was wondering if they will break in and my toes on the left will slightly sink away from the edge? Or did I get the wrong size?
What do we think about these? Size 42, regular. Photos were taken standing.
How do I get a new one for my clogs please helppp
Im a size 7-7.5. However my last 2 pairs of birks have been a size 37. My feet were 6.5 but old age and losing my arch and feet getting flatter has now made them 7, sometimes 7.5. I figured I'd try the lutry in 38. Is this way too big? I tried the 37 and it fit a little bit snug but I was also wearing thick socks.
Ive had the 38s for a week now and if Im wondering if i should have went with the 37 and over time the oiled leather loosens up? If picking between snug or loose, shouldn't you go snug with leather?
