In 8.5 cat was gutted and guess what, no one complained and she was a mid pick.

Now with s9 black cat got two team ups. The bp team up is basically useless and keeps her in her s8.5 state.

The Spider-Man team up not only gives her 2 hooks but it also gives her 45 extra damage on any attack after the hook by giving her spider tracers. This is the un-enhanced version.

I think a decent solution Net ease can try (though they likely won’t) is nerfing the Spider-Man team up by removing the spider tracers.

I think by doing that along with nerfing the I-frame to let’s say 4 second cooldown. Black cat would have more freedom to see how good or bad she is.

I just started playing as Black Cat about 2 weeks before the release of her summer skin. i had saw a clip where someone was doing some fire combos and absolutely carrying which made me want to try her (phantom pursuit looked awesome) so i spent abt 2 or so weeks playing only her in which I absolutely tortured myself playing her and just for reference rivals is my first hero shooter game and black cat is my first dive. but anyways to the actual rant I feel like its unjustified for how much people complain abt the iframes. so many other characters have invincibility frames but its not an issue and is only an issue with black cat. even if phantom pursuit didnt have iframes most ppl still wouldn't hit her and its more of an excuse becuase they have to actually lock in to get rid of her. not to mention she is one of the least picked heros with the 2nd highest skill ceiling in the game. people also dont seem to understand how hard it is to be mediocre at her let alone add value. shes literally another variation of spiderman when it comes to trying to shoot her because of how mobile she is. not to mention she is only usable when you have money. if I'm wrong let me know and why.

I am trying to relearn black cat on rivals on console. I used to play her back when she came out in season 7 and I did okay with her but I’m not super used to playing dive characters as a whole. I am mostly a tank player who can play support but I am trying to break into the dps dive role more. I am posting this cause I really need some tips whether it be for playing cat or just general dive tips as well. I got her invis mapped to up on the d-pad and right on the pad for her fish already. Anyways thank you all for reading this and I am willing to take any tips.

for context black cat is the first dive dps hero im playing and ive reached level 10 with her with hopes to get her lord. i feel like some games im the worst player on my team and other games i feel like im improving. when did you guys start to get the hang of her and feel comfortable enough? she’s one of my favourite characters and i really want to main her but i cant help but feel discouraged at times.

Yes I know a lot of people are complaining about how insane she is, but stop the dooming about potential nerfs and just appreciate how fun and sexy she is all around. I can't get over how good she looks in her swimsuit. Probably my 2nd favorite in the whole game 😩 behind Sue
