[Black Ops 1] Solo help!

Hey folks, I’m down to the last 4 Zombies trophies on BO1.

I’ve seen people mention it’s possible to do these solo with a second controller, does anyone know of any guides or have any tips for soloing the trophies? (I don’t have the DLC)

I’m currently struggling through the collector and dreading the rest :(
Thanks for the help!

What is peeps problem with Vanguard?

Ive been on a COD MP wprld.tour last few days....just trying all alive COD MPs i can. If they are alive, I play usually till I at least unlock 4 attachments on an AR, SMG, and LMG...at least...DMR too when possible.

Morning, coukdnt get a match on Vanguard. But I got on in the afternoon and have been playing with basivally just Automaton...its so good.

This MP (cant speak for Zombies, or campaign) is fucking fun.

And like I said Ive been on a world tour of every COD MP that ibcan consistently get matches in...and damn...wtf is peeps problem with this game?

The maps are fun the guns are awesoome (at least the automaton is, havent felt the need to explore another gun, its so good). Gfx are great....man Vanguard is awesome.

Then again Im actually relatively new to MP...only started playing shooters and MPs a yesr and a half ago. BO7 is such an amazing MP for me, but i also love BO4, MWIII, WWII and now love love Vanguard (and BO6 too).

Ive been playing BO1 and BO2 on PS5, same with BO3 and Coldwar. Playing COD4 remastered on PC. WWII on Xbox.

And i like ALL OF THEM. But Some stand out big time, and those for me are BO7, MWIII, BO4, WWI, BO6 and Vanguard.

Dunno, i might be crazy, but damn Vanguard so fun!

Progression not saving

Can anyone help me fix the issue where I can’t save my progress in Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 1 ? I keep getting stuck at level 19 in both games, and it happens every time I play, quit the game, or go back to the Zombies mode.

Pay for a Zombies Franchise

I only play Zombies in BO7. No MP or WZ.

I'd be willing to spend $60/year for a Zombies only game. For me it would be worth it.

How would you feel about a full fledged Zombies franchise for $40-60 per year?

What if Call of Duty: Black Ops centered on the Peshmerga during the 2014–2017 war against ISIS? (Full Concept & Script Pitch)[Black Ops 7]

Hey everyone,
We all know Call of Duty: Black Ops has always excelled when it tackles real-world geopolitics, grey-zone proxy conflicts, and gritty historical settings (Black Ops 1, Cold War, and Gulf War). But there’s a massive piece of modern history—one of the most intense and complex conflicts of our generation—that has never been fully or accurately represented from a local perspective in a major AAA campaign: the 2014–2017 frontlines in northern Iraq.
When the front lines collapsed in mid-2014, it was primarily local Peshmerga forces that stepped into the vacuum along a massive 1,000-kilometer line to protect cities like Kirkuk, rescue trapped civilians on Mount Sinjar, and eventually spearhead the outer breaches in the 2016 Battle of Mosul alongside coalition support.
I put together a full campaign outline and screenplay script concept titled Call of Duty: Black Ops – Lines in the Sand.
🎮 The Core Concept & Playable Perspectives
Instead of viewing the entire war through an exclusively external/Western lens, the campaign follows three interconnecting storylines:

  1. Commander Rebin "Rizgar" Kader: A veteran Peshmerga commander holding critical infrastructure around Kirkuk and Makhmour with limited gear against captured heavy armor.
  2. Shilan "Azadi" Botan: A frontline volunteer fighter operating in urban clearing and high-stakes evacuation corridors (Sinjar & Kobani).
  3. Captain Marcus Vance: A U.S. JSOC Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) embedded with frontline units to coordinate precision coalition air support.
📜 Campaign Mission Arc (Grounded in Real History)
Act I: The Vacuum (June 2014): Emergency defense of the Kirkuk oil fields and the Tel al-Ward bridge after local outposts were vacated, followed by the desperate Sinjar Mountain evacuation corridor under mortar fire.
Act II: Heavy Ordnance (2015): The introduction of wire-guided MILAN anti-tank missiles on the Makhmour front to counter armored VBIEDs charging across open desert terrain.
Act III: Gates of Nineveh (October 2016): The massive breach of ISIS tunnel networks, earth berms, and suburban defenses during the opening stages of the Battle of Mosul.
💡 Why this would work for Black Ops:
Grey-Zone Narrative: Captures the complex reality of proxy warfare, coalition air integration, local defense, and the human cost born by communities on the ground.
Gameplay Variety: Shifts between desperate infantry defense (limited ammo/RPGs), high-tech air-to-ground laser targeting, wire-guided anti-tank combat, and intense urban tunnel clearing.
What do you guys think? Would you play a campaign structured like this? How would you like to see modern historical settings portrayed in future Black Ops titles

Do people play moon? (XBOX)

I recently got the Rezurrection DLC and I noticed Moon is the least played map along Verruckt. Do people buy it for the WAW maps? Der Riese, Shi No Numa and even Nacht are very active or at least I find more games than I expected

Anyone else pretty much only playing this and not BO2?

Never ever understood the hype for BO2, I went to the midnight launch and ended up hating it. Probably bottom 3 COD’s ever for me. Whilst BO1 and MW3 are my Top 2. Absolutely love this game, regret buying BO2 tbh, thought id enjoy it this time around but nope.

Edit: I said ‘BOTTOM 3 FOR ME’. Reading comprehension in this community is fucking abysmal. I didn’t like it, stop getting offended for a video game you fucking dweebs.

Black Ops 1 & 2

I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about the MP lobbies in BO1 and 2, but the only reason I would even consider buying BO1 and 2 is so that I can play their campaigns again without having to break out the PS3. Is anyone else in the same boat? Or a similar boat for their Zombies?

Let me know what you think

Bomb defused but still blows up…?

Never seen this happen before on BO1, anyone else? Also the score goes from 1-4 at the end of the round to 2-4 at the final end screen?
