It was a bit of a saga to try and make a translucent crystal that glows under UV but finally done it. Still loads to do on this one but it's getting there.

This is an old paint set marine that I am using to test the paint scheme for some an army of de-chaosified chaos space marines kitbashed with firstborn. They will have more of a mixed armor feel inspired by the the Red Corsairs raiders box. This is also a new photography set up that I think captures the black armor color nicely. The last photo shows the paints and tools used. My question is, does this read as the blanchitsu aesthetic? Constructive C&C is always appreciated.

What will happen with corpse grinders feasting on infected flesh? Your answer is here… beginning of Nurgle themed CGC. Maybe was some smaller hive struck by aggressive viral or bacterial infection. Or meat got spoiled in the processing plant. Does nit matter now, when hordes of pox ridden canibals are hunting good denizens of the Hive.

It was fun painting these up in a more grimdark style. The box art is pretty goofy and cartoony. Still need to finish the bases, haven't decided what I want to do yet.
