1. Every Soul Reaper begins with an Asauchi (a blank Zanpakutō). Over time, the Soul Reaper pours their own spiritual pressure and soul into it, causing it to become a unique Zanpakutō. A Zanpakutō is therefore a reflection of its wielder's soul and develops a personality heavily influenced by them

2. The zanpakto has a conscience and personality. This personality is highly influenced by that of the user of the zanpakto. traits of the user are transferred to their zanpakto.

3. For a soul reaper to achieve bankai, their zanpakto must submit to them and wholeheartedly accept them as its master.

4. A very core trait of Aizen is that he never submits to anything, he wants complete freedom, he even states that his life's purpose has always been to extinguish those who try to control him. He doesn't want himself to be subjugated by anyone or anything. Not even the cornerstone of the reality he lives in , the soul king. he will go against the very laws of his reality and Universe and decide for himself how the world should be.

This is Aizen's most central and his strongest trait, which influences his every decision and action.

5. His zanpakto has this trait too.So kyoka suigetsu will also never submit to anyone, not even Aizen. As a zanpakto is a separate entity from the soul reaper. And since bankai can be achieved after the zanpakto fully acknowledges the user completely as its master Aizen cannot achieve it Because kyoka suigetsu will never acknowledge a master. Aizen understands this , he knows his zanpakto will never submit to him because he himself will never submit to anyone. Therefore Aizen cannot achieve bankai.

6. Another thing is that Aizen doesn't trust anyone and sees trust as a weakness, a lack in one's own capabilities. Ichigo said Aizen and his zanpakto seemed very disconnected. His zanpakto has probably this same trait and thinking. So kyoka suigetsu does not trust Aizen, it sees Aizen as more of an associate.

So with the kyoka suigetsu not trusting Aizen and not willing to acknowledge him as its master, Aizen cannot achieve bankai.

I have been seeing comments of people regarding

-Urahara's bankai that it's not as appealing as people expected and he is just moving here and there.

-Also after the trailer released some complaining about Aizen's scene where people are calling his "Soul society" dialogue as fast paced and its scenes as Ai.

So are there really issues or just unnecessary hates to be ignored or just wait and watch?

i still don’t think the I was never Zangetsu thing was actually planned, it seems more like a retcon, but my larger issue is that I do not understand how ichigo’s Quincy manifestation (OMZ) was so effective at stifling ichigo’s true Hollow and Soul Reaper abilities, when it is clearly stated that hollows are the immediate counter to quincies bc of some reitsu bs, this is like the entire point of why the reapers and quinces fought in the first place.

Yhwach says that the real Zangetsu (the hollow), was responsible for the full strength of his zanpakuto, and we not only know that Zangetsu was to protect ichigo and for him to get stronger, and that Vasto Lorde Zangetsu is debatably the strongest hollow, I do not understand how that Quincy manifestation was able to subdue Zangetsu enough to not only reveal he was the true Zangetsu but additionally hold back his power. i cannot see how Zangetsu would be okay w/ being hindered for the sake of playing along w/ OMZ’s “hide everything from ichigo just to reveal it and give him a power buff when he needs it, for some stupid reason game”, when being strong x making ichigo stronger is literally his whole character

I’m rewatching blood war and all I could think about was how cool it would be to see Yamamoto in his prime along with all the og captains. Do you think this is something we will ever be able to see showcasing the first war with the quincies and their defeat?

When Ulquiorra says that there are three espada above him, why do we assume he’s lying when it can very much be true. If he means in terms of strength it could just be that he didn’t regard yammy as stronger than he was because he hadn’t built up enough reiatsu to be stronger than ulq in his resurreccion form.

If he is referring to rank why do we just assume that ulq knew that yammy was espada 0? Because they were partners? Would you then assume yammy knew about segunda? And if not why do we assume that if a fraccion didn’t know the rankings of the espada, that the other espada did.

Why do we also need to assume that ulq was lying about three espada being above him but not assume he was lying that he hadn’t shown aizen about his second form? If the goal was to cause ichigo as much despair as possible then revealing that the insurmountable wall that he couldn’t already climbed actually had a hidden taller second layer would also cause just as much despair.

Wild card theory is that hallibel is such a bum that ulq wasn’t referring to her as one of the three espada above him and instead meant yammy, barragan and stark

Soul Society was incredible, so many new characters introduced and fleshed out. Cool new power ups and moves.

One of my favourite moments was when Byakuya faced off Renji and spoke about how his fangs will never piece the moon that he is. Then Ichigo comes along as his new sword attack is the Fangs that piece the moon (or something similar)

My favourite character is Kenpachi and byackya , they are both brilliant!

I knew Aizen wasn’t really dead, no one seemed to care that much other than his assistant captain. I would have thought if a captain died and like that there would be a man hunt and massive investigation not just “oh let’s focus on the Ryoka still”. But it was very well done. I didn’t expect Gin and the blind guy to be on Aizen’s side, I generally thought he was going to be the main bad guy but Like he looks like a bad guy and acts like one. The blind guy I just didn’t see coming at all.

Ichigo having an evil persona inside him is cool, I can’t wait to see what happens with that. Maybe they fight, one as a soul reaper, the other in the real body.
Also like really like zangetsu but when you’re talking, his name was blocked out, which was confusing.

Also Yoruichi was a cat everyone referred to as Mr and then all of a sudden she is a smoking hot naked woman, she was a great character
