Finally finished my Bobber today!
Finally finished my XVS1100 bobber today. Stoked with how it came out. Shout out to Blue Collar Bobber for their kit. It was easy to install with their YouTube videos. It’s come a long way to what it was when I bought it. Last photo shows before being bobbed.
Edit: typo
Rear fender removal
Purchased my first bike recently (2025 Yamaha bolt r spec) and I want to get more of a bobber look, so I’ve been thinking about removing the rear fender.
- Is there any good tutorials online on how to get that off?
- How do I get started trying to Bob this thing out? Any tips or advice would be appreciated!
If you had to buy a new bike from factory to turn into a bobber, what would it be?
Pretty much as the title says. I will add that the ease of turning it into a bobber should be taken into consideration if it's not from the factory in that style.
Miss my baby 😭
This used to be my first motorcycle before i totaled it last year. She was a 2005 Yamaha VStar 650 that id really done some work to to make it a cleanly built classic style bobber
GLOBBER update
Subframe starting to take shape, but a lot more to do. Finally got a lot of mechanical parts that I ordered. Full carb rebuild is in the near future with other things.

Best Rear Fender for 1999 Sportster
I’m looking to get a shorter fender for this new to me xl1200s, wondering if there’s any good bolt on options vs me having to chop one up.
