I just got my Honda Steed 400 back after 1.5 years of customizing it in a garage. It still has some unfinished details, and I'm planning to change and renovate some things, like the handlebar, headlight, back mirror, and exhaust pipe. I need some advice from Redditors to finish my detailing checklist. Thanks a lot!
Weather has been hot lately. I got a mean sunburn the other day and my shoulder is peeling. I love this thing, I put a lot of miles in! Y'all get out and ride 🦅
And to install this fender I have so you guys will leave me alone 😭🤣
About a month ago I had a friend who I (like a dumbass) let learn how to ride, on my bike. I know.. dumb. But he ended up semi sliding the bike and the bike wouldn’t stay on for long periods of time. I eventually realized the bike was idling too low, and there was slight oil leaking from the bottom of my air intake cover. Wiped it, adjusted the idle, was good- For 2 weeks. Now.. after running great, the bike is having the issue again. This time, it died on me and wouldn’t start. Cranked but wouldn’t start for at least 30 seconds, and the oil leak is back. I can’t pinpoint where exactly it’s coming from. Only the droplets from the bottom of the cover as shown. I don’t know where to even begin so I thought i’d come on here and ask for any tips or headers. When I popped the cover off, there was no oil inside of the air filter. So I want to say there isn’t anything coming out of the carb but again, I really don’t know. I would very greatly appreciate help or pointers. It dies when at a stop light, or when I’m pulling the clutch to come to a stop, and to shift gears.

Finally bought my first ride! Yamaha XVS 1100, which I will eventually turn into a full bobber bike!
Ive already done some modifications since I took these pictures, but havent taken any pixtures since. I will take it slowly in the modification process, but everything I will do, will lean more and more into bobber style.
Now I am looking into the handle bar and need some inspiration!
Please send pics of your handle bars!
My lovely machine vt600
Hello, I hope everyone is doing great!
I am slowly trying to create my build for an upcoming Chief Bobber purchase. I want to take my wife on trips (usually 1h our less)- hence my need for a passenger seat. I want a genuine leather seat surface in dark brown, which rules out Saddlemen, Mustang, etc. as they only do vinyl.
This leaves me with Corbin who actually have a mind-blowing customizability (seat surface, sides, piping, stitching with tons of leather and color options). However, I am kinda stuck between 2 saddle options:
Does anyone have any feedback on these two (outside of looks)?
I am most interested in the passenger side of the equation.
Thank you!
Oliver
