Heard this TV actress auditioned for a Luv Ranjan film

A well known television name could be making an interesting transition to films. Apparently, the actress, who has been around on TV for quite some time, was part of a cult-favourite youth show and was recently seen in reality show alliance. she has quietly auditioned for an upcoming Luv Ranjan film starring Kartik Aaryan. Nothing is locked yet but apparently talks are on. The film is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of next year. Interestingly, the same role was offered to Sharvari earlier. 👀

Priyanka Karki and Anil Kapoor

Priyanka Karki is arguably one of the most prominent actresses in Nepali cinema, with a career spanning both critically acclaimed and commercially successful films. She has made a significant impact on the industry and has established herself as one of the few Nepali actresses capable of carrying star-driven roles. With Masterni, she seems ready to enter another phase of her career. The film brings a relatively fresh concept to mainstream Nepali cinema, with Priyanka playing a science teacher whose story takes an unexpected turn. The movie is also being positioned for a wider Indian audience, with Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali versions planned. She has already won two National Film Awards and has consistently remained one of Nepal’s most commercially valuable actresses.
If Masterni connects with audiences, it could become an important milestone—not just for Priyanka, but for the kind of female-led commercial films Nepali cinema can produce.
Honestly, Priyanka has the experience, screen presence and ambition to take Nepali cinema beyond its usual boundaries. And if she ever gets the right opportunity in Bollywood, I genuinely think she deserves to be there.

Vedang Raina & Naomika Saran are indeed dating.

While the blinds came about Mr. Raina’s dating life shenanigans regularly but they were dismissed by most as single actor star being hounded for clickbait but as they say there is no smoke without fire in most cases.
So, Mr. Vedang Raina kept parroting I am single in his promotional interviews and even in his latest GQ interview to sound more desirable we would assume? (:’)) but a little birdie tells that it is all in fact a facade. He is indeed dating Naomika Saran at the moment. They were spotted leaving a cinema theatre a couple of months back where surprise surprise paps caught them off guard (Awwww :’)) Later Naomika was also seen at Vedang’s private close knit birthday celebrations at his house. Vedang also seems to be following both of Naomika’s private accounts on instagram which have very minimal followers & following list (Awwww :’))
Seems like Mr. Raina has a special affinity towards nepo babies, from Palak Tiwari to Khushi Kapoor to now Naomika Saran. Is she the one finally or are we going to see another nepo baby around him next? The boy sure knows how to keep himself around inner circles and in news at all times, all the while maintaining an image of a private seedha saadha guy (HA). Why post so much on your social media when indirect stuff can do all the loud talking. (:’))

Has Gadar 2 completely changed how people see Sunny Deol?

Just realized that for a lot of younger moviegoers, Sunny Deol is basically the Gadar 2 guy now.

Which is weird, because before that he spent decades doing everything from action films to emotional dramas. But after Gadar 2 became such a massive hit, his entire public image seems to have shifted toward larger-than-life patriotic roles.

That's why Batwara 1947 has me curious. A Partition story should need a lot more emotional weight and restraint than what people usually expect from Sunny Deol these days.

The trailer actually looked more grounded than I expected, and now I'm wondering whether audiences will accept him in that space or just go in expecting Gadar 2 all over again.

Anyone else feel this way?

We didn’t talk enough about Abhay Verma’s role as Wing Commander Rajpal Singh Dhadiwal in Operation Safed Sagar

He absolutely nailed his character. The way he played the role was absolutely amazing. He has so much potential. He impressed me in Munjya , and now he has impressed me again with this. I really hope he gets more good and challenging roles because this boy is incredibly talented. Itni talent waste nahi jaani chahiye.

Is Sobhita Dhulipala one of the most underrated actresses in current generation?

It’s good to see Sobhita back in action. I feel like she’s one of those actors who has been around for a while but still doesn’t get talked about enough when we discuss actresses who are actually doing interesting work.

She has such a distinct screen presence. She seems quite selective about the projects she takes up. There’s a certain intelligence to the way she approaches her work and the characters she chooses, which gets overlooked because so much of the conversation around her tends to be about her fashion or appearances or her personal life.

I’m curious to see what she brings in her next , Pa Ranjith’s Vettuvam. Hopefully we get to see more of her in the coming months.
