Want fresh POVs.

I am writing a sci-fi thriller based on an anomalous world based in india. The lore is about 3 seasons long and I am thinking of collaborating with fellow writers to gain fresh POV for the story. Also season one is almost ready (raw draft) but I have to edit it. I have an idea about season two and three, i still need to prepare raw draft and prepare bibles for the overall story and each season. If interested dm me.

THE EDGE OF FEELING

(Summary)

This story is a gritty social thriller and human drama about the brutal costs of institutional failure and modern exploitation.

Systemic Failure: The government acts as a destructive force, using bulldozers to displace the poor without a safety net, forcing them into life-threatening desperation for survival.

Corporate Oppression: On the other side, a ruthless economic machine treats the working class as replaceable, overmedicated cogs, pushing them to severe mental burnout.

The Emotional Toll: The final tragedy is a direct result of this broken system—colliding a child driven to madness by extreme poverty with a driver blinded by corporate exhaustion, all while an empathetic public has been replaced by onlookers filming the horror on smartphones.

Episode 1

( Characters)

The Nomad Family (Living on the Edge)

Raja: The father. A proud man broken by a system that views him as invisible.

Jitu: The mother. The fierce, protective anchor of the family.

Chetan (10): Forcefully matured by circumstance. Protective of his little brother.

Raj / Laddu (8): Innocent, observant, and driven by a desperate desire to fix his family's pain.

The Shrivastav Family (The Gilded Cage)

Abhishek (25): A corporate analyst. Drowning in severe clinical anxiety, burning out under immense pressure, and surviving on pills.

Komal (17): His younger sister. Empathetic but sheltered, watching her brother unravel.

Sushma & Mr. Shrivastav: Parents who equate financial success with well-being, blind to their son's deteriorating mental health.

Act I: The Eviction

Scene 1: The Slum Settlement, Delhi NCR – Day

A vibrant, makeshift community of plastic sheets and bamboo. Raja is repairing a broken plastic chair. Jitu is cooking roti over an open fire. Laddu is chasing a stray dog, laughing.

The laughter is cut short by a mega-phone.

Government Official (V.O.)

(Blaring through a loudspeaker)

This land belongs to the Municipal Corporation. You have 30 minutes to clear the area. Unauthorized structures will be demolished!

Chaos erupts. Bulldozers rumble in like yellow monsters. Raja tries to argue with a police officer, holding up a faded identity card.

Raja

Sahab, we have lived here for five years! Where will my children go?

Police Officer

(Pushes him back)

Move back! Go back to your villages. You people ruin the beauty of the city.

Chetan holds Laddu tightly as a bulldozer crushes their hut, flattening Laddu’s only toy—a plastic cricket bat.

Scene 2: The Shrivastav Apartment – Night

A luxury high-rise overlooking the city. Seamless glass windows, ambient lighting. Abhishek sits at a desk, his eyes bloodshot, staring at a laptop screen filled with glowing spreadsheets. His hand shakes as he reaches for a glass of water.

His phone buzzes. A text from his manager: "Need the revised financial forecast by 6 AM. Don't disappoint."

Abhishek's chest tightens. He gasps for air—a full-blown panic attack. Komal knocks softly and enters with a cup of tea.

Komal

Bhai? You haven't eaten anything since morning. Mom is worried.

Abhishek

(Voice trembling, avoiding eye contact)

I’m fine, Komal. Just... a lot of data. If I miss this deadline, the appraisal is gone. They’ll replace me in a heartbeat.

Komal

It’s just a job, Bhai. It shouldn’t cost you your sanity.

Abhishek

(A bitter laugh)

In this country, Komal, you are either the hammer or the anvil. If I stop, we fall behind. I can't stop.

Act II: The Concrete Reality

Scene 3: A Concrete Flyover Underside – Rain/Night

The Nomad family is drenched. They are now living on a thin divider beneath a roaring flyover. The noise of traffic is deafening. Jitu covers a shivering Laddu with her torn saree.

Laddu

Ma, when are we going back home?

Jitu

(Wiping a tear, trying to smile)

Soon, my king. God is just testing us.

Scene 4: A Busy Traffic Junction – Day

The sun is scorching. Chetan and Laddu are weaving through luxury cars, begging for loose change. Most drivers roll up their windows tightly.

Laddu stops by a curb and watches a scene unfold. A woman in tattered clothes whispers to her 9-year-old son. As a silver sedan approaches, the woman pushes the boy.

SCREECH. The car slams its brakes, lightly bumping the boy. He falls, faking agony. The mother rushes in, screaming, pounding on the bonnet.

Scamming Woman

Oye! You rich bastards! You killed my son! Call the police!

The panicked driver throws a 500-rupee note out of the window to escape the crowd. The woman snatches it, the boy instantly stands up, perfectly fine, and they walk away.

Laddu’s eyes widen. To him, it isn’t a crime; it’s a magic trick to get money.

Scene 5: Under the Flyover – Evening

Laddu pulls Chetan into a corner, his voice filled with excitement.

Laddu

Chetan, I found a way! We don’t need to beg all day. We just have to jump in front of a slow car. They get scared and give big notes!

Chetan

(Grips Laddu’s shoulders fiercely)

Are you mad?! You want to die? If anything happens to you, Ma and Baba will die too. Don't you ever think about this again! Understand?!

Laddu nods, terrified by his brother’s anger, but the thought lingers.

Act III: The Breaking Point

Scene 6: Under the Flyover – Midnight

Three heavily intoxicated men stumble into the family’s makeshift shelter. They spot Jitu sleeping. One of them grabs her hand. Jitu screams.

Drunk Man 1

Hey, gorgeous... why sleep in the cold? Come with us.

Raja charges at them, wielding a bamboo stick.

Raja

Leave her alone! Get lost or I’ll kill you!

The men laugh. They easily overpower the malnourished Raja. They beat him brutally with his own stick. Chetan and Laddu scream, crying, throwing small rocks at the men, but they are kicked aside.

The men pin Raja to the ground. Drunk Man 1 sneers, unzipping his trousers.

Drunk Man 1

Know your place, garbage.

He urinates directly onto the bleeding, semi-conscious Raja. The men laugh and walk away into the dark.

The silence that follows is heavy with absolute humiliation. Jitu crawls to Raja, weeping silently. Chetan looks at his father—the man who was his hero—lying broken and soiled on the concrete. Laddu sits in the corner, his fists clenched, staring at the bright traffic light in the distance.

Act IV: The Intersection of Fates

Scene 7: Inside Abhishek’s Car – Morning

Abhishek is driving to work. The interior of the car is silent except for the heavy, erratic sound of his breathing. He hasn’t slept in 48 hours. His vision blurs. He pops two anti-anxiety pills without water.

Abhishek (Internal Monologue)

Just get to the office. Don't crash. Don't fail. Look at the road. Why is the road moving? Breathe. Just breathe.

Scene 8: The Traffic Signal – Same Time

The sun is blinding. Chetan is weaving through cars, completely exhausted, his mind numb from the previous night's trauma.

Laddu stands on the pedestrian divider. In his mind, his father’s bruised face and the sound of his mother’s weeping loop like a broken record. He looks at a nearby tea stall—he wants to buy medicine for his father. He needs money. Now.

He sees a black sedan speeding up to catch the orange light. It's Abhishek's car.

Laddu closes his eyes. He remembers the boy from the traffic scam. Just jump, and it all fixes itself.

Chetan

(Turning around, realizing where Laddu is)

Laddu!! NO!

Laddu leaps off the divider, right into the middle of the lane.

Inside the car, Abhishek flashes back to a spreadsheet. He blinks. Suddenly, a child appears in his windshield. His foot hesitates between the accelerator and the brake for a split second due to the medication and exhaustion.

THUD.

The sound is sickening. Laddu is thrown several feet into the air, landing lifelessly on the hot tarmac.

Act V: The Aftermath

Scene 9: The Street – Continuous

The signal turns red. The bustling city comes to a grinding halt.

Chetan drops his begging bowl, the coins scattering like rain. He runs to the bloodied body of his little brother.

Chetan

(Screaming, cradling Laddu)

Laddu! wake up! Look at me! I won't scold you, I promise! Open your eyes!

Abhishek stumbles out of his car, his hands shaking violently. He looks at the boy, then at his own hands. The corporate world, the deadlines, the stress—everything evaporates, replaced by a suffocating, horrific reality. He falls to his knees on the asphalt, vomiting from pure shock and panic.

A crowd gathers. Some people take out their phones to record videos. Nobody calls an ambulance.

The camera pans up, leaving the weeping brother, the catatonic driver, and the dead child on the asphalt. It rises higher, showing the glittering corporate skyscrapers on one side, and the sprawling, endless slums on the other—divided by a single, indifferent red light.
