is a mini bong woth it?

I've just bought a mini bong but the shopping assistant wasn't really into helping me so I bought it without really knowing what was I doing.

I just wanted to ask if the mini bong (that is about 20cm tall) "hits" the same as the bigger ones or if it gives less effects.

and I even wanted to know if a bong makes you feel higher than a joint.

sorry if this question is so dumb but I'm new to this world and internet just makes me feel more confused

Want to buy my wife a new bong for her birthday

I smoke a little but don't know much about bongs; they hurt my throat. I'm trying to find something unique to get her that improves the smoking experience, not just a cool-looking bong.

Budget between $150-$300. Was thinking of a glycerin bong, but i've heard they are over hyped and a bitch to clean, which she wouldn't like.

question about adapter

i am COMPLETELY new to bongs. only smoked joints before a few days ago. i bought a $30 bong a few days ago, and on the first day my friend tipped it over. i had a chillum downstem / combined bowl & downstem (came with the bong) and the downstem snapped clean off the bowl. i did as much research as i could, and ended up buying a downstem that said it was for 14mm bowls, and i bought a 14mm bowl. however, i didn’t realize that i never checked if it had a size for the male part of the downstem, and my bong’s female joint is 14mm. turns out the website didn’t even list the size of the male joint and i believe it’s 18mm now due to the pictures in the reviews. so i naturally discovered adapters, and the only one i found on amazon was this adapter. would it work for my situation? i also included pics of the downstem from the website & the review. to see if anyone can confirm if the size is 18mm. all of the pics i saw for 18mm male downstems looked exactly like the one i bought.

Cherry popped

I just tried a ball vape for the first time. Definitely surprised. I usually only dab, but I'm trying to smoke flower during the day to bring my tolerance down a little bit. So I can get high at night. I had an extra pid sitting so I ordered the kit. Its definitely better than a volcano. Taste is better. Thats what I was hoping for. The volcano wins if there are multiple people on it. Happy purchase.

Need to replace my bowl

I accidentally dropped my bowl while cleaning it and now it doesnt smoke in my bong as well (whole bottom part is almost gone so it sucks air through the bottom hole.)

My issue is that I bought this bowl in Arizona- I now live in Maine. This bowl is thick glass, built in glass screen. It doesnt get hot when smoking and its easy to unplug and never pulled shit through. It Is by far the best bowl I have owned for my bong. It holds like a gram of flower so its ideal for group settings! Everyone loved my bowl.

I have looked for a replacement but im noticing stoners have awful taste in bowls for bongs here- theyre all funnel and thin so they get super hot, dont hold much and suck stuff through. Its awful design if you ask me. Where do I find something thick with a glass screen built in? Id hate to have to downgrade and smoke less because my bowl is undesirable to me- I dont wanna waste weed. I also dont wanna have to get the tiny screens because I lose them and they just break in my bowl anyway.

A friend found one similar, its wine glass shaped and has holes but it doesnt burn well and it gets super hot. It has a handle but if im smoking multiple bowls with friend groups, its hard to physically handle after a bowl or two. Its not a fan favorite.

Suggestions?? A girls gotta get high.

Where to find 18mm/18mm downstem

This is my main bong, when it was passed down to me it had an 18mm/18mm downstem to fit 18mm bowls; a while back it shattered and I’ve been using this 18mm/14mm downstem until I can get a new one but I’m finding it hard to find a reputable shop with the right size, I’ve got an 18mm bowl I bought ages ago I’ve been wanting to use sooo bad.
