I’ve watched a few videos about the Dustbag recently and it seems to fit well within my current need: a thin bag that is easy to use and carry inside my carry on when traveling.
I have a few concerns though:

1. Are the straps comfortable? And are they secure? They seem so thin that I’m afraid they could break at any moment.
2. Is the interior suede? Although I find suede beautiful and luxurious, my concern here is if I would have to baby the bag at all times.
3. Does it get pointy or in a weird shape when it is full? And does it fit well under the shoulder in this situation?

For context I’m a 1,78m tall guy and I wish I could love the Jodie and the Hop, but they keep falling off of my shoulder, the Andiamo is too bulky and heavy as well for my needs so I’m eyeing the Dustbag now (for the future). Funny enough, the biggest competitor is a Prada Re-Nylon bag, but I’d much prefer my final choice being a leather bag.

Recently bought a small red hop from Vestiaire and I chose to have it authenticated before shipping to me. It passed their authentication and I received a bag with very noticeable counterfeit smell (iykyk) and the “leather” looks like this, you tell me what you think. The blue one in comparison is from a bottega boutique so I know for sure it is the real deal. I sent it back to Vestiaire and they check the bag again and told me that this piece of crap is authentic and refused a refund. I’m getting it back and authenticated at my own cost and I will take it up to them again once I receive the results from an independent authentication service. I will never purchase from them again. Y’all be careful.

Bottega’s Notturno (in black leather. But i only tried the brown suede) / Mini Andiamo / Small Andiamo?

I want something casual + can be dressy too!! I currently have a lady dior, small jodie & a small puzzle bag.

Currently facing the hardest choice of my life, very first world problem of me but can y’all help me choose a color for my large andiamo? I have a large hop in Barolo so it’s off the table for now. Thanks :)

I have just finally pulled the trigger on the mini Andiamo bag but there is still one detail that slightly bothers me: its leather strap. I normally prefer to carry it with the top handle, but I would then have to "hide" the remaining leather strap into the bag, making it much less roomy. If it were a chain strap, I would certainly have in dropped outside and it would be much nicer. It's a shame the BV does not release the mini Andiamo in the chain strap version, for a chain gives the bag an even more lady-like vibe. As the mini size holds only essential things, it would not be heavy to be carried with a chain strap. What's your opinion on this matter?

I recently purchased the medium andiamo in fondant … haven’t used it and having second thoughts. It is beautiful, but o feel it a tad big, doesn’t look the best as a crossbody (too big), so will be mainly a shoulder bag.
I’m thinking of swapping it with a small andiamo, or maybe change the color of the medium fondant one I have.
These are the options I currently have, which one looks best ?

Keep the medium fondant 😄

The way I drool for this bag is unreal!! Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of the large andiamo before I impulsively buy this beauty?

Do any fellow BV concert pouch owners have the issue of the knot slipping or coming undone at the base of your bag? I (wrongly) figured there was something besides just the knot, like some sort of stitch or adhesive, but nope! Just this knot. I keep scooting the knot up and tightening it but I don’t love that this is happening. Got the bag maybe 6-7 mos ago and would get another color but for this little problem. Anyone else have this happen? Is it just inevitable with this style?

Getting it as a gift. He likes brown and I’m not sure? Both Barolo and Fondant is brown to me? I’m not sure how they look in real life as only online purchases allow for initials. Help me choose!

Hey, can I please have some help with legit checking these Bottega Veneta Orbits?

Got this beauty second hand for under 1,000 double authenticated. My first Bottega- as a shorty, I tried on bags at the store, and none laid or hung the right way. I loved Jodie & the hop, but the straps were a little too bulky for my taste...this worn in, slouchy look was it for me. The problem is...now I want a bigger brown hobo to add as well😂🤷🏻‍♀️

I know i’ve asked this before but i am looking at a different style dor comparison.
I like the color and zipper on the first one but i fear its a bit bigger for my taste. I like the small and simplicity of the second one but the color might stain quickly.

Which one would you pick?

I am convinced that Bottega creates some of the few bags that look better with age
