Snapped while readjusting, warranty denied 🫩

used everyday for just under 2 years, never been dropped, I'm not a brute who treats em like shit.

snapped while readjusting them to fit my neck, warranty denied because they have "good build quality and aren't commonly broken this way", listen man I get it, but sometimes products just have weird unicorn breakages It that kinda not the whole point of a warranty from the consumers' perspective?

I recently had my monitor's crt controller die (I think), and the RMA process really was night-and-day compared to B&W's, so that might also be apart of why this feels bad :v

Just got the midnight blue

PX!
Super pumped 😜.

First impressions…holy shnikes these are neutral. Putting them against the P7w, might not be a fair comparison, but it’s as if they stripped away all the punch from the low end . So far a very mellow and light sound signature. Not at all what I’m used to , but can see this being great for instrumental music or podcast.

nowhere near as exciting as almost any other B&W over ear, but that may not be a bad thing 🫡

A bit disappointed

I have had my PX8’s for three years now (actually 1.5 for this pair as I had my originals warranteed) and I love them but felt there was always something to be improved in the sound.

After all of the hype around how much better the PX8 S2 sounds, I jumped. To me they sound significantly better, which is awesome. My point is, they MUCH less comfortable to wear than the originals. About an hour in on the S2 and I am adjusting, fidgeting, airing them out. I can wear the originals for hours on end and they are incredibly comfortable right from the start of a listening session.

No proof but it seems the ear holes are smaller, the padding is not as soft, and I have a big head so the sizing range does not seem to be near the originals.

If only I could morph them.

PX8 S2 Midnight Blue!

The best headphones I’ve ever owned, what a beautiful design and the colors 👌🏻

New PX8 S2 midnight blue

My PX8 S2 in Midnight Blue just arrived and they look absolutely gorgeous. The original idea was to use them while walking to and from work every day — around 1 hour total daily.

The thing is… I sweat quite a bit during the walk, plus there’s dust and heat outside, so now I’m a little worried they might deteriorate faster than I’d like. They’re so nice that part of me feels like maybe I should only use them at home instead.

But at home I already have a sound system, and honestly I don’t really have the habit of sitting down just to use headphones there.

Has anyone else been in this situation with premium headphones? Did you just use them normally and enjoy them, or did you end up saving them for indoor use?

I know this is probably a pretty dumb problem to have hahaha

Px7 S3 build quality

Hi,

I’ve recently got a pair of px7 s3 and saw that the sides of the headband are not glued next to the hinge on both sides. Is this something part of the design or is it a faulty unit? Should I send them back?

pi8 vs px8s2?

Hi,

look for the px8s2 but can be a month of saving up compared to pi8, what do we pick and why? purely on sound, not really interested in wear and other points

Original PX7

Moment of appreciation for how good these cans are, amongst all the great posts of the Px7 S3 and Px8 S2.

Anyone else still rocking these today? Anyone who came from these and has since upgraded?

Have a great day!

MTW4 is the best earbuds out there in the world. Prove me otherwise.

MTW4 is the best earbuds out there in the world prove me other wise. The first wireless buds in the world are from Sennheiser (Sennheiser MX W1 2008). When it comes to Netflix Spacial audio in the premium plan Sennheiser Ambeo Technology is used. Sennheiser is always a head of it's Curve when it comes to technology.

My Lord!

Plugged my PX8 S2 into my LG G8 and was blown away. Apparently the headphone jack sounds much better than the USBC to USBC.

The LG G8 Quad DAC is sweetness!

Obligatory “I joined the club” post

Any tips to enjoy these cans. My first track was Ed Sheeran’s Shivers.

Thinking of switching from Sonys headphones to Bowers&Wilkins, which should I pick?

I’ve been using the xm5 for almost a year. They broke,I sold them and switched to the newer version xm6,but that only made things worse.
So now I’m thinking of switching to the b&w
I wanna know what pair I should buy to get better experience,I want my new headphones to last for 2 or more years, have a good noise cancellation mode, and offer better sound quality. (I listen to music on my phone using Apple Music).

Any recommendations?

PX8, PX8S2, H95 for smooth treble ?

Hi all

I would like to ask for advice on which one I should choose.

I own a PX8S2 and they are amazing, sound phenomenal, sharp and powerful but I am facing some fatigue from extended highs.

They sound good with Rock and Metal but when I listen to Hip Hop I can hear "ss" peak at around 12 Hz which makes my ears cry (I have very good hearing at my age of 30)

I don't want to use any external EQ app as they reduce audio quality

I want to ask how PX8 sounds ? They are less fatigued in highs? they still sound as good as S2 but with less high peaks ?

I am also considering Beoplay H95 as their treble are smooth. Have some of you tried them and give any advice comparing to PX8?

Pi8 call quality

I use the BW Pi8 with an iPhone 16e on T-Mobile. I get poor call quality with people complaining they can’t hear me.

Since I have also had this issue with Sennheiser TW4, I think the issue is with the carrier. I upgraded phones not long ago and the issue persists.

I am stuck in my troubleshooting. Anyone else experience this. I don’t want to go back to AirPods if I can avoid it (because music is my main use).

Wear like this normal after 6months?

Got them mid October. I'm super happy with them. However, I'm kinda disappointed by the visible wear already. Anyone else having the same? I know it comes with the color, but didn't expect this much this fast.

Any chance writing B&W could do some good?

I'm located in the United States. Ordered directly from B&W's website.

How much should i list the Bowers&Wilkins Dm602s3 and the Denon Sc-m5k speakers for?

Hello! Inherited these from my dad and wanting to list them for sale with the copper wire included. I know they're from the early 2000s, and are still functional but i have no idea how much I should list them for. There's a couple dents or chips, but nothing major. Any help would be appreciated 😊

PX7S3 Unbalanced static during pass-Through mode

Hi everyone! Just replaced my old and pretty beaten up Momentum M3 with B&W. Unfortunately had no chance to test them in shop as the only one pair remained in a box and while they opened it for me to test the fit, battery was depleted :( At home I immediately noticed something is a bit off in transparency mode. In a completely quiet room it adds some hissing static that is noticeably shifted to the right cup. I tried refitting them, updated sw, made factory reset via app, and tried wearing only one cup at a time- pretty sure static is way louder on the right cup. Otherwise sound seem balanced. ANC is while also adding some hissing static which makes it actually louder in quite place, still have this hiss even, unlike pass-through mode. Is this what everyone have and is considered normal for this (or other models) or is it something worth returning to shop? They sound and fit nicely otherwise, its just happened transparency mode is pretty crucial for me so I don’t want to stay with faulty unit , but on the other hand its one hour drive trip to the shop and the wont be able to let me test other init since its also the in the box and most likely have depleted battery. I would verify them against my old M3 but ANC and transparency doesn’t work there for quite some time, they are beaten up by life :) So… does anyone else have (or don’t have) this kind of static that is way louder to one of the cups?
