An entire family ended up at the shelter together, and now all three are at risk of losing their lives. 💔

MONICA and her two adult pups, MISTY & RALPHIE, came in together as strays on 7/20. The girls are still kenneled together, while RALPHIE had to be separated from them because he is male.

Now this little family needs people to step up before it’s too late. All three are urgent and can be euthanized for space on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning. 😭

PLEASE DON’T LET HEARTWORMS SCARE YOU AWAY! Heartworm is treatable. Local adopters should ask a shelter manager whether they qualify for sponsored treatment through Heal-A-Heart at the nearby wellness clinic. Low-cost treatment options may also be available.

Yes he did get some 🥰

Had a couple of strokes last year, carried her up and down stairs for a while. We were days away from putting her down and then she suddenly started doing the stairs herself again.

Here she is still loving life. (Yes we feed her more and more) … she just turned 12 and hoping to get as much time as we can.

Apollo celebrated his 14th birthday today. HE'S A BIG BOY NOW, AND HE'S VERY SCARY. He dined on a fine hash of sweet potato, ground chicken, peas, and rice. He also decided to share with his sister.

Today Ryker crossed the rainbow bridge at 10 years old. He’s been having seizures for a few months to a year at this point. They have recently gotten a lot worse, along with increased anxiety. We didn’t want for him to suffer with these any more so we made the decision to put him to sleep at home surrounded by his family.

Is this normal?

Maverick likes to sit on the back of the couch and look out the window. He was startled as we walked up to him!
