I'm just gonna be honest here, I main him because I find him attractive (personality and looks) and I'm gay. Aside from that I love the fanarts of him specially the ones made by Sae Naiyatsu (forever will glaze Sae).

I’ve mained Brant since his patch and he’s easily my favorite husbando in the game.

But as a low-spender (lunite subscription only), I’m trying to plan ahead. With the massive HP inflation we're seeing in ToA and Whiwa lately, I want to know if his sequences actually keep him competitive in the current endgame meta.

Would love to hear from anyone still clearing top-tier content with him.

Every post I open when someone asks about brant team, half the replies about how mornye NEEDS her s1 and how she's only his BiS with s1.

This really gotta stop. mornye s1 gives the team 40% DMG stat
Brant with a lupa on top of him is one of the most inflated with DMG% units in the game.

He has:
15% fusion dmg from inherent skill
24% fusion dmg from his sig
24% ba dmg from his skill
12% ba dmg from dragon of dirge
12% fusion dmg from dragon of dirge
30% dmg from sonata 5pc
10% dmg from lupa's pack hunt
10% dmg to bosses from 3 fusion units
15% dmg from lupa's sonata set
24% dmg from lupa's sig

optional bonuses:
15% dmg from high investment brant (s5)
30% fusion dmg if going er/ele
around 10-20-30% dmg from ba% substats which is likely if er/er
(and I will not even mention here ton of dmg% you usually get from toa/burning waves in whiwa)

If your brant has a very good build, he would at the very least 200% dmg bonus, which means that that 40% dmg from mornye would be at best 12-13%

now one of the best things to consider is, that if your mornye is s1, she's also required to do enh heavy attack for her buff to work, and if you she doesn't need to do it at s0, you're also able to quickswap with her fully during your windows with lupa and completely fill her concerto with qs, when her turn to outro comes all u gotta do is to do 1 heavy to start her launch to midair and already outro.

if you're doing basic rotation with them, then yeah mornye s1 is gonna be around 12%-13% dmg. if your gameplay is advanced the gap just closes more and more due to not needing to do mornye's full rotation, gameplay example would be here: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1VDAWz7EU9
(this is more relevant to people with s3/6 brant who cannot manage to do 8 anchors, if your brant is high sequences getting more than 8 anchors is going to just force u to drop anchors without full buffs so don't mind if you're high invested brant and can do 8 anchors)

Funnily enough, mornye's s2 is even better for brant than her s1

since chang li is confirmed to rerun, should i get chang li or wait for the new fusion unit Jingran? i have brant and Lupa, and i would like the unit that would further improve my brant if possible

i am still new to the echo system of WuWa and tbh not seeing how many "rolls" go into the stats i need hinders my ability to know jsut how much crit rate i can realistically get on his pieces if i run him with a crit dmg 4 cost which what people say is better
(i have his talents/traces maxed the side ones and he has his signature weapon)

i left the game back when cartetheyia was running for the first time and i only have brant s1r1 and cantarella s0 r1 so i am severely lacking in character and i just lost my pity on lucilla who's on banner right now and i have absolutely zero idea who i need to pull to salvage my account :') so i would appreciate any tips!
