Today, BreakThePencil has collaborated with r/SigmaMangoPhonk, a diffusion subreddit of r/tuffmangophonk made by Lynx, created to serve as a grey are between BTP and TMP members.

The discord of the subreddit is a cesspool that is just waiting for child grooming. Or even worse it has already begun. As much as I don't want to share it, I will be showing some of the things posted there and deemed as okay.

If moderators take this down, remember you believe it is ok to post. Hell even the moderators have been contributing.

I hate pencils

First, pencils are slow and limited. Every word must be written by hand, mistakes must be erased manually, and long tasks can take hours to complete. AI can generate ideas, answer questions, organize information, and complete assignments in just seconds. In a world where time is valuable, speed matters, and AI clearly has the advantage.

Second, pencils can only perform one basic function: making marks on a surface. AI can do much more. It can write essays, create artwork, compose music, translate languages, and even assist doctors and scientists with important discoveries. The range of tasks AI can perform is far beyond anything a pencil could ever achieve.

Pencils also have practical weaknesses. They break, become dull, get lost, and need sharpening. AI does not suffer from these problems. As long as there is electricity and a device to run it, AI can continue working efficiently without interruption.

Although pencils still have their place in classrooms and art projects, they cannot compete with the speed, versatility, and power of Artificial Intelligence. The future belongs to technology, and AI has clearly moved far beyond what a simple pencil can offer.

The AI user oppression is off the charts, to find a way to attempt to push back is accomodation and acceptance.

The polarization of people's opinions on AI generated media makes this difficult. The best step for this social media platform is to add a third universal flair for AI generated media that can be unusable in spaces where AI is prohibited for a good reason. This simple flair could be just a single step into incorporating and accommodating AI users to the site but something bigger towards the dream of accomodation rather than domination.

We shouldn't see AI haters as just the oppressors, they're just blind to the truth that no matter who, what, or how it's made art is art in some way, shape, or form.

Turn against the norms and build a new normal of accomodation, acceptance, and equality everyone!
