Breeze downgraded my seats out of the blue

Breeze downgraded my seats out of the blue

I first want to state that I know I'm not automatically entitled to the seats, however I'm curious about what people think of an odd experience I had with Breeze today.

Yesterday, I went to the counter and purchased 3 RT tickets in person at the Breeze counter. I booked Nice bundles for all three tickets. Due to a combination of the Breeze employee maybe not having booked many tickets in person before and me being extremely polite and patient with her, she booked my family and I in seats 4DEF for both the outbound and inbound flights. I didn't mention seats to her at all because the flight isn't for a couple of months and I planned on booking them later as I'm traveling with a child and can book in the family zone at no cost. She told me she put us in Row 4 and I simply said thank you and walked away. Done deal.

Breeze emailed me cold more than 24 hours to say they were taking those seats away. I fully understand that I didn't pay for the seats in Row 4, but doesn't it strike you as odd that they revoked the seats a day later? One of their employees did me a favor in person and corporate overruled them and essentially said, "tough luck."

Paying for wheelchair assistance

Interested in what you pay for assistance. If they stop and let me go to the bathroom and then take me to the gate. How much? What about when I come home, stop at bathroom, go to pick up luggage and then take me and my luggage outside to my awaiting car? How much?
Thanks in advance.

Military benefits

Hello so I’m looking to book with breeze it’s my first time flying with them and I’m about to be done with my school for the army and wanted to take some leave to go home for a bit before getting to my station. I just wanted to know if breeze has any military benefits like free checked bags and any military discounts. I’ve seen they don’t even have customer service number so I just want to know if there’s a section before buying your tickets where they ask if you’re military or do I ask about my bags at the airport? Thanks!

How Often Does Breeze Change Schedules?

I have been working on planning all details of upcoming trip, focusing on using Breeze, going from RDU to one of three New England airports (BDL, PVD, HVN). A lot of my effort has been focused on finding best flight times, letting that guide some of my travel decisions (in other words, making choice of the city I fly into based on a "reasonable" time - not too early, not to late). Same for the departure city. I worked out all the details yesterday, using flight schedules from Breeze website, as of three days ago. I went in today to purchase tickets and all the flight times have changed. Is this common for Breeze to change so many flight schedules?

Convoluted question about Flight credit.

I am wondering if any has a data point or personal experience on what happens to a flight booked with a flight credit that occurs after the flight credits expiration and the flight is cancelled by Breeze. I read the Breeze carriage and searched. Even asked AI and I can't figure for sure what happens. I know I can book a flight that is after the expiration of the credit. I know if I voluntarily cancel the flight after the expiration I would lose the credit. The terms for when Breeze cancels a flight say they will refund the amount back the to original payment method or your breeze account. But for the sake of booking my original payment was partially the flight credit which would be expired if refunded back to me. I know the book a flight, wait 24 hours to cancel and than get an updated flight credit doesn't work to extend the expiration like it does on a mainline carrier so my guess is even if Breeze cancels the flight I would be out the flight credit money but there is no exact policy that I can find and I can't find any data points for that exact scenario. So if my December flight is cancelled by Breeze what happens to my November expiring Flight credit?

SAV to CMH yesterday…

Man… this was a rough one. Original ETD was 6:35 pm, delayed by an hour due to one small mechanical issue and needing to refuel.

Made it 20 minutes outside of CMH and circled in a holding pattern for maybe ~30 minutes, but couldn’t land due to lightning storms.

Diverted to IAD! (Washington DC!!) Had to wait at IAD for fuel and a crew to help us out, maybe another 45 minutes.

Took off again around 12 am, and eventually landed CMH at 1:30 am… But then there was no gate crew. Had to wait another 30 minutes on the plane to get off of it!

Get to the luggage carousel by 2 am. Bags by 2:30 am. Home by 3 am.

What should have been a 1.5 hour flight turned into 6+ hours on the plane…

At least we made it home.

Ascent upgrade worth it for 3-hour trip?

I am planning a trip to Costa Rica and debating whether or not it's worth the $170 upgrade from the Nicer to Nicest (Ascent) upgrade for the 3-hour return leg of the trip. This would amount to a $510 additional cost for three people. What's your opinion of the Nicest/Ascent upgraded seat?

Question as a nonrev

Hello all!

I work for the Globe and my wife and I are trying to list on MyID. We have a lap child and when trying to list our infant, it does not allow us to book a flight. Is this something that gets taken care of at the gate?

Thank you for the help!

Left iPad on IAD to VRB 8/6

Looking for anyone that might have ideas or be able to assist with recovering my iPad that I believe I left on MX640 from Dulles to Vero Beach on the afternoon Thursday 6 August.

Fell asleep on the flight and forgot I had my iPad in the seat back pocket until after I left the airport in Vero. I submitted a lost item report on the Breeze website but nothing heard yet. Planning to follow up and check with the gate agent when I fly back to Dulles later this week, but otherwise not sure on what else I can do… Unfortunately I did not have Find My turned on for the iPad (my fault I know), though it is logged in to my Apple account. Anybody with ideas or that thinks they may have seen something I’d really appreciate it!

How long for a reimbursement?

I filed my receipts on July 14. I haven't really heard anything back from them since. How long has it typically taken people to get something back?

is the plane coming?

i’m on breeze airways flight MX643 tonight, delayed 5 hours (supposed to be 4:25 and now 9:45) and they announced the reason was weather, and that MX642 was on its way. however, flight aware has shown it taxi-ing for several hours and other sources say it arrived at 3:55. the boards at the airport don’t show it on arrivals either.

so… is the plane coming? i was supposed to take this flight monday and changed it (5 days) bc of the delays. i’d really like to go home even if super late…

ETA: it came, 8 hours late. made it home!

Breeze airway flight attendant training schedule

Hey guys I got an offer letter from breeze yesterday on 8/5/2026. I was wondering how soon they normally give out training dates and what days in the month are training dates normally ? Is it typically the start of the month ? Or the middle or end of the month ? I applied for Orlando Mco part time
