So I posted earlier today and I’m really sorry for posting again about somebody selling. What I assume is an etched version of a particular model on a gem twist body and I just wanted to share the interaction I had with this person because I don’t really know what to do like should I report this person what I don’t really know what to do he is saying some crazy stuff. I also don’t think I’m giving away any personal information in these two screenshots but if I did, please let me know I’m just being dumb.

Nothing fancy but I love them! Gilded looks so out of place 😂 As a child I used to have a good 45 or so, but I had to sell many of them when I moved out after college. Some of these remaining are my absolute favorites from childhood, the rest were gifts over the years or thrift finds + cheap SM blind bags. I recently posted Gilded here because he was my first in many years. I'm so happy I have a place to display them again!

Purchased an online ticket this summer for breyerfest for the first time and was bummed out that I couldn't get this model because she was an in person exclusive. I didn't know that they did a 2nd chance sale and immediately sold a few things in my collection to get her! So happy I got the bell tail and that I didn't have to pay eBay prices for her! ♥️

My bestie spoiled me by taking me out for froyo, and then took me to our local retailer and told me to pick 2!! I love her so much! Gambit is so stinkin' adorable, and I thought I hated the Saddlebred mold, but seeing it in person made me change my mind SO fast. I love the blue ribbon in his mane!!

Hello my friends it is I back with a question. Well, first of all if any of you remember that I was trying to trade my paint surprise horse. I have decided that I’m going to keep him because he’s been sitting in a box and I feel bad so he has been named he has been placed in his tiny little troop with two of his friends and will hang out and be beautiful, and I will eventually simply purchase ones that I want. Hopefully they don’t go up in price too too much. However, I have a question.

Strangely enough, my largest conga and my most prized possessions are my Gem Twists. I even got lucky by accidentally buying something that was marked as the “Commander Riker” model when I received it, I put it on my shelf, continued on with my day and once I was ready to kind of put it in to my finishing of the acquirable conga, I looked at them and said to myself why do I not have this horse? I know I ordered him. I know I received him. I then looked over all of my horses very closely and realized that someone sold me Authentic.

I am still unaware why the God‘s favored me that day, but I was just getting back into collecting and the confusion and overwhelming heart palpitations I had were quickly made better when I found a beautiful copy of the horse. I was missing that I thought I had for like 10 bucks so I got a pretty rare horse for $25 and that was awesome.

However, there is someone with a listing with pictures of a model on this mold, and it is absolutely not an OF Breyer. Part of me thinks that it was someone trying to create an etchy version of a not raffle, but I can’t think of the word right now my God my brain of an auction model that I want very badly but obviously it’s a one of one and I’m never getting however they’re not telling me anything. I said what is horse they said I could sell in Shop easily and I was like that’s not the question I asked they’re advertising it as a dapple Bay, which also leads me to an understanding that they do not know what they’re talking about it anyways to perform so here are the pictures just in case I missed something and this is not just an altered. I’m going to guess Monte considering the fact that I think the hooves match up really well it’s either that or one other model, but there’s less of a light coloring on the feet. I just wanna know if I’m on something or if I’m completely missing a model that I’m unaware of on my all-time favorite mold partially because of my childhood and partially because of this weird, psychological thing, it’s called like the cognitive ideal of an animal or an object. It interferes a lot with artists being able to look at something and draw what they see as opposed to filling in blanks so to me like the ideal model horse is like a gem twist. I feel like he’s just super well proportioned I love him. He will always be my favorite. He reminds me of my mom who passed away because I remember being a little and getting him from a Ben Franklin’s in Washington state when I lived there so thank you to anyone who wants to investigate this because I’m pretty sure it’s not gonna take much.

And honestly, you guys have been way cooler than any of the other Facebook communities so thanks not that like they’ve been mean at all. I just like this community. Maybe I’m just a weird person who likes Reddit and I’m 43 that makes no sense anyway OK here’s the pictures.

Thought he was a normal stallion like his brothers, nope. Did some dusting and discovered he is, in fact a gelding! Kind of embarrassing honestly, had him catalogued as a stallion and everything

It's a little beat up from play, but regardless I'm extremely happy to have gotten this barn so cheap! This barn is a like a 2-in-1 bonus for me. Get to have an old barn AND fix it up!

Now I get to take it apart, clean it up, fix the broken parts, then get right down to customizing! I have so many ideas, but I'd love to get more!

What do you think would be cool to see in a customized breyer barn?

It doesnt even have to be practical! This is going to be a display and photo barn only! No play! Well...maybe a little bit 😁😁😁 I'm already having some fun with it!

hi there! i just got some older breyers from an antique store but some have these marks on them. some are paint scuffs, which i know cant be cleaned, but some seem to be dirt or something else. what would you guys suggest to use to clean them? i dont wanna use sonething thatll damage them more and i dont trust googles ai bs

Any recommendations on how to clean up the one in the middle?? I’m hoping it’s marker of some kind and not a pink mold of some sort.
