Youtube is changing what defines a view. Before somebody had to view a video for 30 seconds before it counted. Enough time for somebody to think "wtf is this shit" before leaving.
Now if a single frame of the video is loaded, it's a view. Youtube used to be pretty good on having numbers that reflect real life, now it's just like the rest. Still at least they're not just making the numbers up like rumble.
