share.inquirer.comRecommendations for Delaware River Tubing
Hello! I am planning my 35th birthday party and wanted to go tubing on the Delaware River with my friends. I think it may end up being about 15 people. I’m wondering what’s the best way to go about this as I have never been tubing down the Delaware before. Should I reach out to a tubing place or have us all meet at a location? I appreciate anyone who can help me figure out logistics. I was planning on packing some food for everyone, probably sandwiches, snacks and drinks.
Thank you!

Bob Harvie wins Democratic primary for Pa.’s 1st Congressional District
On paper, should be a competitive purple candidate for what is a purple district.
Parts of the internet may be mad Harvie is not their perfect candidate and then choose to sit out so they can blame others or maybe these individuals will even vote for Fitz or a third party sort of proving the horseshoe theory.
Here’s something to consider: politics in swing districts is usually about coalition building, not ideological purity tests. Notice I’m not even calling out specific issues here, yet some people will still invent an entire narrative about all my political leanings and positions without any actual dialogue or knowing me.
Bob Harvie is your 2026 Democratic Canidate for House, thoughts?
Home Addition recommendations
Looking for some recommendations for architects or build firms that can help us plan out and price out an addition for our home, roughly 1000-1200sqft budget is 300-400k. We are in northern bucks co. Does this seem unrealistic? We don't need anything fancy just more space for the family and pets.
EDIT: it's an 1880s home that is all stucco. The company must be willing to work with/around the character of the home.
How are people in their 20’s buying houses in Bucks?
I don’t have 15-20% of 500k to put down on a house with student loans and bills? I’m seriously curious how young people are buying houses in bucks, especially upper bucks.
My girlfriend and I make about 160k combined and it would take us about 5-6 years to buy a “starter home”
Update: Solutions from feedback below:
1. Work harder, the boomers had it just as hard as us
2. Be a trust fund baby
3. Real solutions: The most logical, save smartly, apply for FHA loan, etc.
4. Move lol
Tattoo Artists beef with BCCC
I’ve been seeing some local tattoo artist getting pissed off at Bucks County community college cause I guess they offered a certificate and tattoo design. Can someone explain to me what’s the situation here? I’m a graduate of Bucks.
Jacks Dog Farm
So, I don’t know a lot about the adoption process of dogs. But jacks dog farm. Is that like a step up from the Lancaster puppy mills? Has anybody gotten a dog from there before? Any experience or stories? Does anybody know the owner or how the dogs are taken care of? There’s always such cute and popular breeds I’m very curious.
EDIT: all my family dogs all my life have been adopted from reputable shelters. I drove by just wondering about it. Never shopped for dogs, I’m a college kid with no money to even “shop” for a dog. Not looking for a dog at all just asking a question.
Pride parade
Looking for a pride parade to take my teen to. Smaller might be good or one with less crowds as it’s her first time and could get overstimulated
Neshaminy creek spots
Would anyone be kind enough to privately share some spots on the neshaminy creek that are accessible? Been looking on the map but have had no luck
Free power washer in need of repair
Hello, I am in Bensalem and have a gas power washer that won’t start but is free to a good home. Hopefully it will be an easy repair for someone who is handy. It worked last summer but I can’t get it started now. Message me if you are interested in picking it up. Thank you

Question about flights
Just wondering if anyone can help me out here, I plan on booking a flight in the near future out of Philadelphia air port or Trenton mercer, haven’t decided yet. I wanted to know if anyone knew if I NEEED a real ID to get on a flight? I won’t be going out of the country, I’m planning a trip to Alabama. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!
Karaoke 60th birthday
Looking for a bar/restaurant to hold my mom’s 60th birthday party hopefully with karaoke. A private room with karaoke (or even I could get one of those projector karaoke machines and be able to use it on a wall ) would be a plus but I’m not sure if that even exists around here 🤣 any options I found with a quick google search seemed to be in Philly but wondering if there are any other options!

Primary voting in person is tomorrow may 19th
Find more info about your local races, polling place, how to check your registration etc here: https://www.vote411.org/
If you are in line at the polls when they close, you are still entitled to vote.
If you have a mail in ballot you havent filled out you can bring it with you to the polls and hand it in for a normal ballot, and if you lost the ballot before turning it in, you can still go in person for a provisional ballot. Or you can still go drop it off at a designated drop box.
If you see anyone infringing on your rights as a voter you can report it, there are contact numbers listed on the website.
New Maps - Old Confederacy. Lower Makefield Township Visibility Brigade May 15
Inexplicably deciding racism is no longer a thing, the majority GOP Supreme Court has decided no need to safeguard people of color’s right to vote under the Voting Rights Act and the 14th and 15th Amendments. So here we are. All of the voting rights won during the Civil Rights Movement being undone, white people creating maps in Ohio, Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina and maybe Georgia to ensure their black brothers and sisters’ votes are diluted. Black Communities can organize all they want- the GOP can just change the map to ensure that community’s citizens are split up. They just split up Memphis. GOP “leaders” believe they are entitled to power regardless of fair representation - this is not democracy. It is Minority rule. Power based on controlling a map as opposed to belonging to the people. And given the harm being done to Black voters and the silencing of Black voices- it is all baked in the terrible sin of racism.
