2022 Buick Envision Essence AWD- a good buy?
Vehicle I'm looking at is a gray 2022 Buick Envision Essence AWD with the Technology 1 package. It has 18,818 miles on it, and the price is $26,998. One owner, Clean CarFax history report and regular maintenance. The Fuel Pump module recall has been taken care of by previous owner, so it does not have any open recalls. I have a substantial downpayment that I will be using, while financing the remaining.
I haven't had a car since June 2025, when a tree took out my beloved dark gray 2013 Buick Lacrosse Leather 3.6L V6 that had 208,000 miles on it. My Lacrosse was fully loaded (HUD, heated leather seats, power front seats, panoramic roof, auto rotating headlights).
Does the 2022 Envision sound like a good purchase? I want to make sure I am not jumping at the first low mileage one I see, but the price is great for my area. This one has all the features I want that my Lacrosse had (minus the rotating headlights, loved that feature), with a few additional new things (AWD, heated steering wheel, 360° camera, front parking sensors, a trunk release button in the actual cabin) and I love the color. Slightly worried about going from a V6 to a turbo inline 4, but I did appreciate during my test drive of a 2021 Envision how much faster the Envision moves from a dead stop compared to my Lacrosse.
