Autoflower in 2 year old Take n Bake kit
Beverly Hills Crop II

Beverly Hills Crop II
Started my first EarthBox grow. Had my seedlings in nursery cups with Happy Frog to start…and for whatever reason (probably my watering practices) I woke up to them heavily drooped and seemingly suffocating. Immediately took that as a sign to transplant. 12 hours later they perked right up. Now 6 days later they are taking off. A day or two away from filling the reservoir. After a tedious first grow top watering 5 gal fabric pots with Fox Farms nutrients this all feels like a game changer. Never growing any other way.
Thanks BAS for the knowledge! 1st run coming to and end using Coot's recipe along with BAS minerals and nutes. Built my own SIP'S. I'll never grow any other way other than organically!
had some initial stretching that I think is causing the stems to start leaning like this. Just started to get this lean in the least 24 hours.
Anything I can do, or just let them be since the new leafs are all growing upward?
I’ve got 3 fresh earthboxes ready to go with BAS 3.0, Craft blend, Buildafower top cover, Gnarly Barley, Kashi Gold, and rootwise mycrobe complete and bio elixir.
My question is do i need to top dress all of these when i initially build the earthbox, or rather just start with the 3.0/craftblend/buildaflower/rootwise? Any harm in mounding the soil early on with everything?
Also, if I’m planning to transplant in 3-4 days, what’s the reccomended timing on setting the earthboxes up and letting them pre moisten and “cook”? I know the guide says what it says… Any additional perspective/real experience is always appreciated. Thanks as always
I thought I was ready to harvest but I have this new growth coming out what does it mean? It looks like it has pistils coming out is it the plants just throwing a last ditch effort to try and get pollinated? Nanners? Foxtailing? Appreciate any information!
Flower tent: Pictures 1 & 4-8, Flower tent is on a bit of a lull while I get the new bed established and I just popped new seeds in the 20 gallon so they’re just getting going, trying to put a sensible rotation with these plants and beds so I won’t put new seeds in empty bed for another 3-4 weeks
Outdoor pictures 2,3: Tashkurgan Afghan landrace, plants have grow beautifully they’re now over 7 ft tall and starting the flower stretch
Indoor Seed tent pictures 9,10: Full landrace seed expansion/crossing project currently have a Lebanese male pollenating 2 Lebanese females, 2 Tashkurgan females and 1 Iranian females
12/12 from seed results pictures 11-14: Strain Violet Sour(SourDxPurple Lemon Haze) The quality is top notch and it smokes beautifully, I stopped weighing long ago so I don’t have an actual quantity but you can see how much each one filled a jar.
To me quantity doesn’t really matter when I’ve got a plant or two coming down every month and the ease with which I was able to grow, dry and process it means I don’t have to baby sit the tents or grow. Plus with my breeding I’m not really paying for seeds in the traditional sense and I’ve got thousands so I’ll never run out.
Growing Shishkaberry in a 4x4. I’m using BuildASoil 3.0, top-dressed with Craft Blend, Build-A-Flower, and Kashi Gold. I plan on top-dressing again going into flower, and I’m really looking forward to just dumping water down a tube after dealing with endless issues and tedious synthetic nutrient mixing on my first run. I’ve spent hours watching Jeremy’s videos and getting ready for this run. :)
I started these plants in small nursery pots with FF Happy Frog before transplanting into 3.0. For whatever reason, probably my watering practices, they drooped like crazy, as you can still see on some of the lower leaves. I transplanted them into the EarthBoxes with 3.0, and 24 hours later they were happy as a clam. This pic is 48 hours after transplant.
Can’t wait to see the end results! 😎
Ok I just can't make up my mind this round so I'd like some opinions please
Anyone grown this strain ? This is two ethos endgames punchline rbx in one earthbox. I wanted to see if it was doable 🤷 well now I'm exactly where I thought I would be and I'm not sure what to do.
Day 42 of flower. Last top dressing was at day 21 of 1/2 cup craft blend and 2tbsp 0-12-0 seabird guano and kashi gold.
The soil they are in is more super soil than no till. It's a re amended and cooked heavily amended soil I didnt sprout in this.
It's not a lot of yellowing but I'm concerned it's to early and the whole rest of the tents about to run out of steak just short.
Would you top dress another 2-3 tbsp of craft blend and kashi gold ?
Just wanted to let everyone know that mainely organics is having a growoff. To enter, it's only $200, and you get 4 full packs, and $100 of that goes to the prize pool. You can enter 1 strain or all 4. Each has its own category and its own prizes. So obviously, the more that enter, the bigger the prizes get. The cut-off to enter is September 21st, so there is plenty of time still. Ends in January or February, i forgot. Tap in, and let's make this epic!!! Of course, I use buildasoil cuz it's the best!
I wanted to thank each and everyone one for the vast amount of fantastic science-based information I have gleaned from this sight and a couple others.
Over the last several years I feel I've refined my methods and system to my liking. Everything from a predictable environment to equipment and of course time, my precious time!
I have found that I really enjoy F-4 seeds. With that said, if anybody would like to make a brief (positive only) comment about your experience with any breeders F4's (seeds) they grew in living soil or no- till please share.
My own recent experience is with Seedsupreme (90% sure) photos of 'Strawberry Cough'. What a vigorous and impressive show out of the soil. Like thoroughbred race-horse stuff.
Anyway, as any of you probably are, I'm always on the lookout for a breeder that might be a bit under the radar or up & coming, that has an F4 line you experienced.
I've personally determined F4's and BuildASoil is a perfect combination.
Thoughts Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share an update on the current run and open the floor to any feedback or questions.
Setup & Details:
Soil: Build-A-Soil 3.0 (Round 2)
Pots: AutoPot XXL paired with Grassroots fabric pots
Nutrients/Amendments: Strictly following the BAS feed & top-dress schedule
Lighting: GML 720 overhead + Mammoth Under Canopy (UC) lighting
Current Status: 3 weeks post-transplant (from clone)
Next Steps:
Planning to flip to flower this weekend or mid-next week, depending on how much they stretch and fill in the open space.
Fire away with any questions, tips, or comments!
All tips and recs for using the light mixture and autos? Do you literally just add water? How can I maximize my yield? Appreciate you
Is it safe for my young nematodes to be sprayed with WDG3000 as well? Like is it going to kill them off, cause idk if my nematodes are working or not.
Hey all, first living soil grow here. I am 4.5 weeks from seed. Over the past weekish i’ve noticed some new growth looking off. Almost like mag def, but it’s on newer leaves. So I’m just making sure my assumptions are correct that this is some sort of nutrient excess possibly causing mag lockout.. But could possibly have been too high PPFD. As they’ve grown closer to the light some spots were nearly 700 PPFD on 18/6. Just lowered to it 580-630.
Before planting I top dressed each earthbox with:
1/4 c craft blend
3.5 c buildaflower
1/8 c gnarly barley
1/4 c insect frass
1/8 c kashi gold
Been using microbe complete, WDG3000, Q20
About a week ago I hit the earthboxes with ~1/3 the recommended dose of Big 6 Micronutrients
Setup: 2 Earthboxes in a 2.5x4.5
Light: HLG Diablo 350R
Soil: BAS 3.0 (1.5 bags per earthbox)
VPD: 0.9
I see some people say 3.0 has enough nutes to get you through an entire run depending on container size. And I see others saying to top dress new 3.0.
I’m gearing up to flip them in the next week or two but want to hold off if this is gonna cause issues down the road. But I also don’t want them over growing their containers and have to play catch up all flower. Either going to top dress then flip, or top dress after the inital stretch. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
Pictured here is mostly the candy fumes (blooms cut) and rs11
mistakes were made and I almost blew it, definitely doing a soil test before next run
cheers
Just hit hour 48 and am having trouble deciding if the soil needs some more water.
I lightly top watered the BAS light with my chapin after planting the seeds on Thursday, and have left them in the humidity dome with the vents shut since. Using the mini leds at 20% on an 18/6 light cycle. I also have the heat mat going at 10% to keep the temps above 70. It feels like the soils started to dry out slightly, at least compared to the other day.
Would you recommend giving them a bit of water today, or leaving them until the seeds pop?
