New Material?
Any recent news on a single or anything other than the album early next year? I figured we would be getting something about 6 months before 2027 as this was about the length of time between first single and release date of ST.

The chap behind me had the vinyl and asked the band to sign his 12 inches, which got a good laugh. I got the booklet for The poison signed and also the 4 Words etched vinyl which I think was limited to 1000? Little bit or my history for you all. I can't find the date, but I am pretty sure I was 15 at the time as I skipped school with a classmate of mine to go there that day. I turned 16 in June 2006, I think it was arund the release day. They got a old school black cab to the HMV and got dropped off right at the beginning of the queue, then walked past the whole queue and walked through the front door like rockstars. Great memories haha
also if anyone has any questions about that time I can try to answer, I have half a bottle of red left and loving revisiting this era!
Hey folks. I was looking at their stats on Spotify. Bullet has 5.6 million monthly listeners. This is more than almost all metalcore bands. They are only behind bands like Bad Omens, Falling in Reverse, or Bring Me the Horizon. Those bands are metalcore, but they have a different type of fan following, which bullet for My Valentine doesn’t have (thank god for that). Why do you think BFMV is huge compared to other bands like Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, or even Trivium (Giggles)?
Hey I’m clearing out my Kerrang and rocksound collection and would love to sell these BFMV issues! There’s 6 in total and I’d be looking for around £5. Shipping within the UK possible :) mostly missing the posters but I have two Kerrang posters I’ll throw in too! Some corners folded and staples loose but covers and interviews are all good. Message for more pictures or videos I’m happy to give more details!
Tears of course, but songs like Death by a thousand cuts; when that intro starts, you know shit is gonna go down. I’ve always loved Bullet for their intros.
6 weeks ago i replied to a comment of Moose commenting on Chris Clancy's (now As I Lay Dying) instagram post. I asked when they will tour together because I remember Chris doing backing vocals in the studio for KTL before Jay joined the band.
6 weeks later we see this:
I know it couldnt have been initially planned as KTL was supposed to tour with some other Band through Ireland. The shows have been cancelled because of the current situation there.
I live in Europe so this is not what I hoped for but I'm happy for all US based KTL fans.
Have a good time for us too!
PS: As much as I dislike Tim you can't deny their songs still wake nostalgia and the new lineup is solid.
Meanwhile Moose and Jay are killing it with KTL and they sound like what Bullet was supposed to sound like post 2010....
Finally, after an extensive hunt and search for this vinyl, I was able to find it for a decent price and finally came in today.
With some bands having re-recorded early songs over the years, would you want Bullet to record 'Turn to Despair' for their next album? Either as a bonus track or even part of the main album if it fits the tone of the rest of the album (I can only hope).
I think it'd be really cool, especially since they didn't give us anything new from that era when they released The Poison anniversary edition, nor did they give us everything on streaming since Curses (full) and Turn to Despair are still not available anywhere. I don't see them giving us anything new when SAF's anniversary comes around either, so this would be the only way that I can see them giving us anything new from their early work.
Though tbh I'd settle for the original track being released on streaming if nothing else. My copy of the song is pretty low quality.
Here’s a closer look at my Jackson Stars Matt Tuck Sig. I know I post about these things a lot. But I wanted to show it a bit thoroughly. I have only seen ONE Jackson Stars version of this pro model in circulation, and I know the owner. It’s in the black finish though.. not this silver sparkle. It’s crazy to me with how rare these guitars are that there isn’t more pictures or anything of the ‘stars’ Japanese market versions. If anyone has more info about these particular models (I doubt it) please reach out to me. In the meantime, enjoy the guitar porn.
In my opinion as a fan that has listened and loves all of their albums, if SAF was more similar to their debut it definitely would have been a bigger and better album. Given the circumstances that Matt's voice was in I understand the direction they took. And if they used the same formula for their albums it would mean no evolution in their sound and style. I love all of their albums and I really am wondering what your opinion is.
