Slowest Days of The Year

Hello all, I want to go to BGW with my girlfriend and want to know the slower days that would be good to go. I assume middle of the week but what time of year? Thinking around end of September or into October before Howl O Scream. Let me know your thoughts

Verbolten

Thoughts on the revamp? Haven’t seen much discussion about it. For me it knocked a GOAT of a coaster down a few pegs on my ranking list. I like alpengeist somehow more than verbolten now

Question from first time visitor going to Busch Gardens on July 4th weekend

Hi all!

I will be in the area the week of July 4th and have always wanted to visit, but I'm aware 1) it will likely be very busy and 2) there will be extreme heat.

A few quetions so my partner and I can make the most of it:

  • Would lines Friday July 3 vs Saturday July 4 likely be better or worse?
  • If I bring a little backpack so I can pack a neck fan, does that mean I will have to get a locker at every coaster or can I just toss my bag somewhere for most rides?
  • Given the holiday weekend, would you say it is worth the splurge for quick que or do you think single rider is just as good?

Thanks so much :)

How are the kennels?

Considering visiting but would need a place for the dog while we're in the park. I understand I have to come back to feed and walk her, and the staff only provide water. The website says "Climate controlled" which usually means no AC or anything like that. Has anyone here used the kennels before that could provide more insight/info?

don't turn right this, dont turn right that

The mystery of the old theme and storyline amplified the experience much than it was. While the addition of props are great, the story is weaker soley due the fact it tries to spoonfeed "don't turn right" all throughout the ride

maybe there can be a good halloween retheme?

Is Pantheon Back Open?

Good evening everyone I am going to Busch Gardens at the end of July and was wondering if Pantheon has been operating since I heard something broke on it around a month ago. Thanks for the updates!

Going for the first time July 5

Hi everyone, I’m going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for the first time ever July 5. I was wondering if you guys had any advice for me to take!

Are there any major attractions down at this current moment?

The Busch Gardens app and Queue Times seem to be all but useless when it comes to accurately conveying ride closures, so I’m wondering if anyone here has been to the park recently and has a firsthand account regarding what is open and what isn’t. More specifically, attractions that are down or have been down for an extended period of time. Not even just rides, but literally anything in the park would be greatly appreciated.

Quick Que for Labor Day

Will be in the area and planning on visiting for the first time to BG Williamsburg. Will be a single rider and visiting on labor day. This was the only day I had open to visit. Should I get the qq plus?

Short and curvy girl. Will I fit?

Over the last year I gained a fair bit of weight due to some medical issues. I was wondering If I will even be able to enjoy my day at the park. Me and some friends were planing to go but now I’m having second thoughts. I’m currently 5’2” and 140ish pounds. Any input appreciated.

Going for the first time in 20+ years

I'm visiting the park on Wednesday the 1st. I'll be going solo and just trying to figure out the best way to tackle it. I'm a big coaster person, but I also love skyrides and anything that offers a chance to decompress and take in the scenery. Also is Quick Queue worth it for a Wednesday in July? Any suggestions or tips appreciated!

Is it worth getting a quick queue for july?

Us being family of 3, we're thinking of getting it for two of us since my mother doesn't ride roller coasters, do crowds get packed in july or is it not worth spending the extra money and just do the family coasters first(heard they tend to get the biggest wait times) and then finish off with the most intense options and hope they arent full, since the quick queue doesn't offer darkcoaster and velborten, we're definitely doing those first, we just wanna know if its worth spending the extra money, and no we cant afford unlimited

Any idea why the griffon doesn’t use its single rider line? Every kart that leaves the station has multiple indivual seats available so I’m curious why the line is always closed

Water Shoes for Water Country?

Hello,

I was curious has anybody dabbled in wearing water shoes to water country and if so did they make you take them off or can you wear them the whole time?

Last year we went barefoot and it was burning our feet. If these aren’t a good idea, all recommendations are welcome.

Thanks I appreciate it!

Do most coasters close if it rains before the park opens or while the parks open

I’m going Saturday and there a chance for rain throughout the day just wondering. Also is pantheon and big bad wolf open in the app it doesn’t say the wait times at all for those two rides

Loch ness monster had a 30 minute wait today when I got to the park!

I have never seen it more than a 5-10 minute wait during the week days. Does anyone know if they were having issues or were only using on kart?

The 2 people in the big scooters

Please stop coming to the park. You kept honking and almost running over little kids so you could speed in the park. You drive like morons and should be banned from the park. I'm going to get in touch with customer service and hopefully they have cameras. The best part is the lady who ran into the back of the guy( both in scooters but he had to stop at the last second to avoid hitting a kid just walking) hopped out and ran around the corner of the trailer when you guys were loading like you robbed a bank. You people are trash and have zero self respect or respect for others.

Bags when going on rides?

What happens to them? In going for the first time today with my 12 year old sister and my husband. Are there lockers? Does someone have to stay off and hold the bags? What happens to your purse?

Water country included with platinum pass?

Maybe a silly question but ive found many perks with the platinum pass that I didnt initially know about.

And if it is do i just go there & use my same pass that I would at BGW? Does the free parking also work there?

Thanks for any help! :)
