I was talking to my friend the other day, and the island came up, and he asked me why its called the island.. and I legitimately did not know, and ive lived here for 47 years. What's the naming reason behind that area in town?

I live between Butler and and Slippery Rock and would like to know who you would suggest for the job in this general area, but could go further out if they are really good, honest and treat the customer with respect. Really want a place that is truly honest and just do the job w/o looking for BS to make $. Thanks.

Hi! I'm pregnant with my 4th child and I am currently seeing an obgyn connected to ACMH hospital, but i was also looking at Wexford and I'm struggling deciding between the two on which i should give birth at. I have an appointment with an obgyn connected to wexford tomorrow to talk to them and kind of feel them out. I also just moved out here from California so i don't really know much about anything around here. Does anyone have any experience with birthing at either hospital and whether you would recommend one over the other? ACMH is 20 mins from my house and wexford is 45 mins without traffic. i'm not TOO worried about the distance i just want to know which is better overall.

Hi everyone. My wife and I are wanting to expand our garden to potatoes and Pumpkins - but we're a bit late on sprouting our own seedlings (basically what started as a few plants has become an addiction!).

Does anyone know where we might be able to get some potato and pumpkin seedlings? I'm going to call Agway in the morning. I called tractor supply and they said no dice. Rural King is next and if all else fails, we'll sprout our own potatoes and will hope for the best.

Any advice helps!
