Da science unit 7 chem
Anyone find it 10x easier than bio
Anyone find it 10x easier than bio
Just me who found that horrible?
Hi!
How did everyone find it? I thought that those 1 or 2 marker questions on advantages of stents and bypass and all that was weird, as well as the last page with the advantages and disadvantages of the genetic engineering stuff. It was pretty shocking that there was absolutely no reproduction.
That question 7 on genetics was very different to other genetics questions I've seen but I thought it was quite good (the sex linkage thing with huntington's).
How did we all find it? I think both the papers were alright but some questions did not make sense in b2 and booklet b was alright not too bad or not too good and the 6 marker for both was good aswell
How are ppl feeling for it? I’m rlly worried I hope there isn’t a 6 marker on a blast furnace or electrolysis I can never remember it
I’m hoping of doing maths ict and physics but I may not get into physics if I get a BB grade in da science would someone recommend doing history or psychology along with them
Anyone else find the practical exam rlly hard I got like 12-15 marks in it I found B2 rlly easy tho and should get high ums
Anyone have any predictions for the essay? I’m thinking hopefully burn baby burn or young Peter, also how we feeling.. low-key cooked
what alevels are yall picking? I have no clue what I am picking and I am also chaning school for sixth form because my school's alevel options are ahh and I heard it is much easier to change schools this year because many people are leaving grammar schools because we were the year that didn't have transfer test and people who were not meant to be in grammar schools got in. Is this actually true? I really hope it is because I need to change to a grammar school for the alevels I am hoping to pick which is Bio chem maths and business or even just bio chem business
How are ppl feelings for it I feel okay for unit 2 but sorta worried on the practical booklet I’m hoping there won’t be a 6 marker on lymphocytes and phagocytes
Specifically chemistry unit 3, seeing as the grade boundries are so low and each raw mark you go up roughly equals 1 ums, is it fair to say youd only need around 70-80 raw marks in order to ger 100ums?
Any predictions on what will be on it and the 6th marker I sorta think it could be abt the microscope or the starch test on a leaf or variegated leaf
Anyone else leaving stats revision until after physics?
Hi all of you!
How are we feeling for Biology Unit 2 on Monday? Any predictions for the six markers?
i’m so confuseddd how does all those weird ahh magnetism questions work with the gang signs
Never been so flabbergasted, in that I knew quite literally nothing. I have gotten 0 marks on that one. Didn't even know where to start
(CCEA Maths M8 Paper 2)
Hi!
Does anyone know what sort of raw mark you need out of a 100 (both papers together) to get full UMS?
I’m really worried as I just did my last year 11 module today and I spoke to my teacher and he said in order to get an A* over all you need 90% UMS overall in each module. Is this true? I think I should be fine in most of the modules I did this year except chemistry as I have at best gotten 65/80 and I’m worried that’s too low. I want to go to QUB for medecine after A levels and apparently they want 6A*s at GCSE (or at least it’s mandatory in order to be competitive). Should I aim to resit chemistry in the summer? I already have 20 something modules next summer anyway.
How we feeling? think I did well!
