Crimson Desert defeat 5 enemies at once with a cannon sealed artifact challenge

This really annoying sealed artifact challenge sucks. The easiest solution is to hold square on PlayStation to get back on the cannon asap. Don't fight back.

If you arrive here and the soldiers or cannons are missing, just teleport back, rinse and repeat. Good luck. 👍

Does anyone know how to get this guy? He’s literally the last character I’m missing. I’m currently at 469/470 Knowledge. I’ve already completed all the main quests and all the faction quests, but I still can’t figure out how to unlock this character. If anyone knows how to get him, I’d really app

Tip for resource gathering.

I wasted a lot of time in game going through a lot of content before ever visiting the witch for upgrading. I hoarded tons of gears for hundreds of hours and I thought I'd give a tip for players to save them some time now that I've figured out just how much time I could have saved when doing Carls missions and such.

Have an entire armor set entirely for resource gathering and stack them with the abyss gears specific to that resource. I have the Grey wolf set with my gloves stacked with logging gears, gloves with gathering and chest with mining gears. 3 30% mining gears plus a helmet with another 10% one guarantees every node I crack gives 4 ore. So large cave deposits give 80-120 depending on how many nodes. Usually 20-30. For Carls missions, gathering logs, ores, or random meats early on would have been a LOT less time consuming had I invested in this early on. So if you happen to get the crafting recipe or enough of the same resource gathering gears, I HIGHLY recommend you slot them as soon as possible so whenever you happen across that specific resource you want, simply switching one armor piece can increase your yield by up to ×4. Helps tremendously when upgrading armor and weapons early on too unless you want to constantly be looking for copper.

This Sub is Full of Too Many Herald Guard NPC's. For The Other True Greymanes Out There You Are Not Alone. Combat Showcase. (link your mid-high level combat videos here too! Hard Mode Only)

DAMN I WROTE HERALD INSTEAD OF HERNARD

This game has an absolute S-tier combat system. I think it belongs among the greats of brawlers with games like Nioh, DMC, Ninja Gaiden etc.

In the time i've been in this sub reddit I have seen far too many critiques about this game which as far as I'm concerned many of the negative reactions primarily stem from player error and/or lack of understanding. For some maybe it's just not their cup of tea.

For the others, the ones who actually played Crimson Desert and understand what Pearl Abyss has created enjoy a showcase of some of my combat with a sprinkle of a vague narrative I pieced together randomly from clips I took without any real plan in mind when recording.

I'm playing on a 1080 ti 11gb, Ryzen 5 3600 so apologies for any lack of graphical fidelity i have to turn down the quality when I screen record to keep decent frame rate.

im not a youtuber or video editor so i think some compression happened i used something called clipchamp which is a really terrible video editor and it kept freezing then it deleted the file that had all the clip edits so i just settled for what i had.

I have never really watched another person play this game especially in regard to combat/high level combat so if you have some Greymanes level game violence *hard mode/hard mode modded harder mode only* feel free to share it here id like to see it.

Growth knowledge entry discovered!! (Post story)

I see a lot of players (including myself) have had trouble finding the knowledge entry “growth” under quests —> guide —> guide after they have completed the story. I just found it and wanted to share how in hopes that it saves someone else a headache.

I can confirm it is NOT linked to the letter from Alustin that is obtained during the early story quest “the words of Alustin”. It is a different letter that has this knowledge.

I went to the location called beggar’s end just west of Oakenshield manor in hernand town. I then started giving coins to all of the beggars there (not sure how many you need to donate to but I was just spamming to see if anything triggered). After about 6 or so, a mini cutscene triggered of a beggar giving me a letter that, when read using L1/LB, gives the “growth” knowledge entry.

Truly hope this helps somebody.

Abyss Gear Spread Sheet WIP

Hey Fellow Greymanes,

Here's a Google sheets checklist to track what abyss blueprints you've acquired and where to get them. Along with descriptions of each. I plan on expanding this spreadsheet to include crafting recipes, gear data, and a crafting calculator.

Whenever I make updates, I'll try to do it by sheet so you can update your copy.
