Hey y'all! I hope everyone is enjoying (early) launch day and hope this is OK to post here - I figured the folks in this sub would enjoy this!
I dove deep into the weeds with Scott O'Gallagher, the senior design director for CFB and Madden, for an hour-long conversation ahead of today's launch about the newest features in College Football 27 and why they decided to take so many big swings this year, especially with gameplay and overhauled pre-play controls.
We also talked a lot about the improved AI logic (some really fascinating stuff there), some of the most requested features in dynasty like recruiting sliders and dynamic pipelines, and how he handles community criticism about things like the MVP+ subscription and post-launch patches.
I also mentioned this last year, but it's super clear to me that these guys see all the comments in channels like this one and that our feedback actually helps shape the game. So hopefully you enjoy this conversation and drop your thoughts below - someone at EA might actually read them!

Slow SIM and Fast SIM Allowed - player vs cpu can be either, player vs player has to be slow simmed.
You can use another teams playbook just not custom ones. If caught using a custom playbook you’ll be removed from the league.
THIS IS A FULL SIM LEAGUE ONLY, no games will be played against users or cpus, this league is to measure our coaching and recruiting skill as well as just having a chill time, but appreciate communication and paying attention.

19/24- Looking to draft teams asap
No switch means that once a play starts, you stay locked on that player until the play is over.
When passing the ball on offense, you can use the catch button for the receiver but do not control the receiver until after the catch.

HBCU Online Dynasty
I’m pleased to announce the continuation of our HBCU Online Teambuilder Dynasty. Had a lot of fun doing this for CFB 26. And looking forward to continuing it in CFB 27. This one should be even more fun, now with Coach Mode.
And since teambuilder is going to be revamped with alot of updates. I want be starting this league, until I’ve included every single new feature to these teams. I’m known for getting every single detail right about these HBCU teams from the field art, the uniforms, the roster, the rivalries etc. And now with stadium builder, and crowd editing. Building Every Lone Star Conference Team in College Football 27| Central Washington University Wildcats(Part 2) USERNAME: Russgangent11
The Central Washington Wildcats are complete and become Team #2 in my full Lone Star Conference rebuild project.
For this build, I focused on making everything as authentic as possible:

The goal with this series is to recreate the entire Lone Star Conference with realistic branding, uniforms, recruiting pipelines, and team identities inside College Football.
Central Washington brings a strong Pacific Northwest presence to the conference and features some of the cleanest uniform combinations in the LSC. Every helmet and jersey set was designed to match the school's real-life look as closely as possible.
