Update 1.4 for COTW Clicker is live! (Bulk Add, Auto kg/lbs, iOS development update)
Hey everyone, it's me again!
You might remember my previous posts about COTW Clicker: a completely free, ad-free Android app to help you keep track of your Great One grinds (and look up animal info sheets) without losing count.
I'm excited to share that Update 1.4 is now live on the Google Play Store — the biggest update yet. A lot of your suggestions are already in, and more are on the way. Here's what's new:
- Bulk increment (+5, +20, +50, +100): Add multiple kills at once — great for group grinds or catching up after a long session.
- Precise weights & auto kg/lbs detection: The app now picks your unit based on your region and shows more accurate weights and information
- Redesigned settings + dedicated language screen: Cleaner navigation as the app grows.
- Fully translated into 10 languages: Animal names are matched 1:1 to the in-game translations.
- Support the project: If you'd like to, you can now donate via Ko-fi. Completely optional.
iOS / Apple update: First, to be clear — the Android version stays 100% free with zero ads, forever. Nothing changes there.
A lot of iPhone users asked when the app is coming to iOS, and the good news is: I've bought the Apple Developer Account and the iOS version is now in active development.
I want to be transparent about the plan. Apple charges $99 every year just to keep an app on the App Store, and as a 17-year-old student that's hard to cover. So the iOS version will likely be freemium, free to use with some ads and minor limitations, plus an optional Pro upgrade to remove ads permanently for anyone who wants a clean experience or just wants to support the work.
