Takes all kinds of bait, fights like a fish 5x its size, plentiful anywhere, and seems to come in 6-packs before I hook anything else. Is there a bug in the game?
I just got the game and i am enjoying it are any of the dlcs good and worth the price since they are on sale on steam
I cant understand how to reel fish in, it makes me so mad that i cant understand it, irl fishing feels less intricate than this games fishing
Do i increase drag?
Do i lower it?
Do i have to flip flop?

How do i know which legendary is active on each reserve?
2/0 spoon 55lb line and the top baitcaster reel in the normal shop. Was a fun battle, been out here for 3 IRL days, got it right before it goes away!
Absolutely loving this game, my partner got it for me with all the reserves and it’s been fantastic for my mental health so far. I just wondered, at what point should I be moving to another reserve?

Hey all, I purchased COTW during the recent PS5 sale and so far it's checked off every box for a peaceful fishing game.
However, as a total noob (both to fishing and this game), I'm struggling hard on the first few objectives. Mainly where the game asks me to catch a bronze small mouth in the highlighted area.
After some research, I ended up with the size 10 frog and I know I'm in the correct location due to the marker on the map. But for the life of me, I can't seem to catch anything. I'm sure it's a technique/skill issue, and was hoping some more experienced folks could chime in and help this noob out.

Ive had a hard time catching Wels on this game. But of the three i have caught, two have been diamonds. First diamond was 99lbs. Both diamonds caught on 2/0 hook, leeches and liver. Any tips on how i can catch more frequent and XP farm on silvers?
Just got the game yesterday and played for about 3 hours without seeing a gold. I pulled this guy up and thought, that's way bigger than the other perch I've caught, it's gotta be my first gold right?
